  1. Indeed. Cool designs by Okama too (those anime chars on his t-shirt)
  2. Hmm anime thread huh... anime is okay, though it cant hold a candle to manga some random favorites: Fantastic Children Totoro Gankutsuou Champloo Paradise Kiss and Beck (same director) Mindgame and Kemonozume (ditto) Hanada Shonen-shi Black Lagoon Shin-chan
  3. I'd probably want a BUNCH of N64 games. I played a lot in that period, and those are the only games I cant play on my Mac. The fact that I'll be able to play them with a durable analog stick and a tolerable framerate are more than valid reasons too. From the top of my head: Banjo Tooie and Kazooie Conker's Bad Fur Day Donkey Kong 64 Snowboard Kids (loved this game) Super Mario 64 Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask Paper Mario and maybe I'll get Blast Corps too, just for old time's sake
  4. I really, really hope this game will have more substance than Killer 7 did. Cause that game was pure genius from an artistic point of view. Sadly, the game just didnt hold up in the end because of how shallow it was. You've gotta love super cheesy voice-acting like that btw. So ya, Fingers crossed.
  5. Since I have no clue what day I might be getting it, I'll probably just improvise. :P Probably go with a friend, maybe 2, to the local shop where we preordered, buy it, go to a friend that has a projector screen and play Wiisports like a couple of bitches. And when I get home, dig into Zelda. Personaly highlights of buying a new Nintendo console: - Receiving the Nintendo Wii box from the store clerk - Opening it at home and installing Its like Christmas Ultra.
  6. This might just be my most anticipated non-Nintendo release in a long time. The game looks sweet, and I've heard the controls are really accurate and fun. The entire "moe" anime-style is definitely appealing as well, plus the fact you can earn currency to pay for new outfits and other stuff. Nice. I've been craving for a new arcade-golf game ever since I sold Mario Golf: TT (silly me). So I cant wait til they announce the EU release. Though I saw a February date on this very site?
  7. I played on one of those pods yesterday in a new shop nearby. Pretty cool, though there was a guy handing people the controllers when they wanted to play. Which was probably a one-time dealy. Are the controllers stuck somewhere? I cant imagine that being easy to handle when you're playing, or is it? Anyway, it was my first time playing on the Wii. It was amazing. The hardest thing I think, once I get used to constantly gaming with the Wiimote, will be having to go back to regular controllers.
  8. Sooo, anyone got this game already? (I do believe the US version was a launch game) I've been thinking about getting this when its released over here in February, but I'm still not sure. The game looks like a LOT of fun, but I dont know how long it'll last me. I'm a big fan of the Waverace games, and those kept my attention for a long time because of the steep learning-curve; and the ever changing weather-conditions kept the tracks from getting boring. So I guess in the end, that'll make or break Excitetruck for me. Any hands-on impressions from someone? I'd especially like to hear from fellow Waverace fans that own it, how does it stack up?
  9. Geh, that sucks. Oh well, I'll just save up some points at my local gameshop and buy it whenever. Appreciate the replies
  10. I did a search but I found nothing on the subject (I searched RGB, if there was a topic after all, the search function is broken :p) Aaaanyway, my question is simple and obvious as the topic indicates. Will my Nintendo Gamecube RGB cable work on my Wii? Or do I have to buy one for the Wii? :/
