I'm willing to be in, but when's it going to start? I can't really handle being in two mafias at once hence why I dropped from DIY, but I'm also feeling like some of a break with pokemafia literally just finishing. I guess I'm still in, though. Maybe this time I won't survive to the end eh!

Ahh, so you fucked up! I did lol at the newspamphlet bit, but I didn't know it was me! I assumed I wasn't targetted/in any write-ups because I never got the PMs. Then I just read back, I think I had thought Proud could be Pidgeot as the game was going anyway, but I didn't clock being that red and yellow pokemon, or the large one or whatever I was the other night. I should object to your fail ReZ, cos it means I essentially was just...a guy who could choose to vote twice/kill as part of mafia, but I enjoyed things either way. Don't do it again though. Also, one thing that never got answered, people kept saying this was supposed to be less town orientated, whereas I interpretted your post in the last thread that you feared things were inbalanced AGAINST the town, so what one was it?

Kinda what I'm feeling. I've not done alot of them so I'm not used to the 'standard' roles, but I think players are and so the dynamic of the game is a bit set and stale already. Mixing shit up is the way to make them better, for often I see people's arguments and reasoning in mafia threads being examples of mafia dynamics and previous mafias etc

ReZ, was Moogle and Ell the white and light purple pokemen? I'm still confused as to where I was in writeups, which I'd assumed I wasn't in as I never got PMs in regards to my mirror pokedex power, and I'm still confused, or is that what your post was about?

A fixed time is kind of nice, as it forces action/the game, less time for dawdling etc. Maybe room for movement is a minimum/maximum time setout at the start and stated in each day opening the exact amount, to allow for how the game is going etc. I dunno really, I don't do mafias much.

I can't believe nobody every targetted me, both games I've basically had passive powers(though I did have the Choice Influential this time, I chose not to use it until neccessary, and I do believe surviving meant that power won the game), but yeah, passive powers suck! I was waiting every night to be targetted, just so I could find out who people were, but it never happened

(EDIT: Didn't realise it was a wall of text., sorry!) I want to play in a mafia where...it's a little less serious. I dunno, just a bit more lighthearted, wild lies and accusations being thrown around everywhere. Maybe like a crazy eastenders style mafia or something lol. Anyhow, having finished LifeLight, and featured in DeathVoid, I can give more opinions on mafias. I've been in 3, one live as a town, LifeLight as town, and DeathVoid as mafia. Live mafia's a bit awesome, bit more fast paced and a bit more off the cuff/going on random hunches or so, you have less time for analysing everything and carefully formulating everything. From what I remember it was very exciting, but then it was also my first mafia. Being town is crazy, you suspect everything and everyone, there's a weird passion that overtakes you, it's exhillirating yet slight demoralising as your town get picked off, again and again. Being mafia, man, that seemed hard. Odds against us I thought. It's tricky to pretend to be town when you're not, and you have to be careful to not let mafia knowledge slip out. I think it was easier for us in parts, because there was alot less agreement and lynching going on by the town, whereas in LifeLight we were lynching all over, and unfortunately killing alot of our own dudes for a while. I'm not as passionate as mafia, and find it hard to be as active. That's one big thing too, activity. You have a game full of so many people, yet there's a quarter to a half of them who are just sitting rather inactively. The ones who ARE active tend to get killed, and the ones who aren't go unnoticed. It's a bit weak having so many people in a mafia and none of them playing. ReZ did bring in late replacements, though for me the idea of replacing people with previous players was a bit...iffy. Especially as Dohnut got back :P Like twice, I think?! It terrified me knowing he was town against my mafia! I'd like it if there was more people in a mafia, and maybe...a bit more variation? Like, mini-multiple mafias, independants etc. It's very clear cut when it's mafia or town, but if you're in a game when you know there's more to it than just those two sides, I reckon it'd change the dynamic of gameplay quite alot. As it isn't two distinct sides, and when you don't trust more than one person, there's less opportunity for tying them to each other as being on the same side like. Problem with things like that though, I just don't think there's enough people active to make it work, plus it'd take alot on the part of the host to get everything right and kept in order I imagine.

Awesome, really much so. I never really expected a mafia win, and could I just clarify if at the end of LifeLight, you were saying for this to be more balanced in favour of the town? Cos I swear that's what you were saying. Also biggest struggle with this mafia is seeing Marcamillian regularly in real life and trying not to break secrets, or even discuss the mafia. Lolz to killing him, I know he was well into it. I honestly actually did suspect Moogle and Ell of independants, then I thought twice, but it was a nice thing to latch onto just in case. I would have been mad if even if the mafia didn't win, the town didn't either because they did! :p Nothing personal, just as part of the game, a two man team winning over all by default would be irksome! Really good game guys, and sorry to Dohnut(twice over), I think he died because he's just too good at these damn games! The Gizmo twist was a nice one btw, ReZ.

I only recently pushed my limits for the first time, so I'd never much paid attention to the increment before(except once I think, quite a few years back). I DID notice it to be quite a large allowance though, and I thought it was quite cool that the forum's fly like that.

UIG's my priority, and despite me not using it really, possibly a side helping of PYP, I flicked through it sometimes to see some cool stuff, but it's also the sort of thing that can't always warrant its own thread. Videos, Pictures etc can be brought back into a specialised thread if it/ReZ gets out of hand posting 20 'funny' video threads a day.

Hard sure is the word! Haven't played it for ages, but did get it around release for a bargain twenty at Gamestation(so good I got two and gave it to someone, I think!), but my wii was lacking in games at the time and so I thought I should. Was fun having the ability to play your own music alongside too, anybody make some banging excitetruckin sountracks? :P

Sorry sorry sorry. I was never here for the last 48 hours. I would like to tell you that I was Dugtrio, with the ability to know who the pokemon is that targets me, although nobody has as of yet(afaik) targeted me and so I do not know who anyone is unless it doesn't work as straightforwardly as I thought. However, I also had another power that I had been keeping secret and made me most suspicious of Dannyboy...for I TOO have a double vote, however mine is at my sole choosing, and now I choose to invoke it, Vote: Dannyboy

I'm not denying Moogle's power and involvement, but I'm still highly suspicious of him and Ell, I'm convinced they're independants if not mafia related. For him to just pop in with 'Raining targeted Dohnut, Dohnut died ergo she is bad!' and then leaving, is hardly enough for me. I've had no other reason to suspect Raining, and if we say it's because she stuck up for martinist then surely Danny's mafia too? I reckon Moogle/Ell need to knock off the town just as much as the mafia, and so I'm not keen to trust what he says. It's easy to establish himself with his powers, then later use it to just name and shame people as the numbers dwindle and the mafia start to reach a majority.

Again Moogle is quick to the jump, and I still don't trust him and Ell. Second, having seen that martinist died, I'm going with the more plausible and more supported notion that Danny's mafia, their defense of each other just did not add up to me, so I Vote: DannyBoy.

Certainly makes things very interesting now, I look forward to day phase...

Also, I think Jailbreaking is probably illegal kind of in the sense of breaking a contract/civil sense, cos it breaks teh EULA, not illegal criminal illegal though, basically only illegal cos apple tells you not to do it if you want to use their product? Addressing the actual point of the original post however, whether or not it's just a patent they're seeking, it's an actual idea they're contemplating. A really fucking creepy idea!

Dohnut has appeared, and I'm always interested in what he has to say. I put my vote in in case ReZ ended this early due to a lack of discussion(amazed he hasn't this time :P) but for now I'll Withdraw Vote til we hear what martinist has to say for himself. I'm torn between a few people atm, if martinist is mafia, then I don't like the look of his townie list, or Danny, but it's also not ruling out Mundi because if they're all mafia he could have some good power they're trying to protect. In fact, just re-reading back, how can you 'accurately guess' that the mafia is nearing a majority, Mundi?

I'm in two minds, martinist does look quite suspicious, but also I find it strange that Marcamillian expressed suspicion of Mundi(that was just about making sense to me) and then he's found dead. There were a few posts by Mundi that seemed a bit...off. It looks like a whole lot of people seemed to be around to see/witness something from that writeup, do we have any info from them?
