  1. Yeah, I also enjoyed Doshin The Giant for a moment. But, it was a little hard to evolve the citizens. I especially liked merging a different coloured islander with another coloured islander. Really added an empathic emotion for my citizens. It was also a blast building a wall around the game area, so that I wouldn't be tempted to check out the outer edge, which by the way was the only way to kill off the giant ending the game. Now, I only desperately want Battalion Wars, Chibi-Robo and Killer 7 to make my collection really something to marvel at. Later I will pick one GC-game after another with a more laidback attitude, so the sellers won't pick-up my desperation to purchase a game and totally ripping me off. That'd make me sad. Really sad. :.( :'( Other games I'd like to point to is both Lost Kingdom games. Real gems, though a little unpolished and a couple of glitches. But, none to serious.
  2. So, anyone up to sell this for me so my life feels a little more complete? I want it, I need it. Someone's just bound to want money for their Wii purchase and who isn't a games collector. I just love seeing my collection on a daily basis. To see the coverarts, to smell the sweet sensation of a great game dashed with another man's/woman's sweaty hands, to play it and get my senses overloaded. Heck, I might even purchase a Dolby Pro Logic II receiver (I already got four loudspeakers) and sub-woofer. That'd be so coool!! So, please!! Someone give it for me for a nice price, you'll get a loyal friend forever. OK, I might've scared a couple of potential sellers already, but someone should have the balls to sell it to me. Right? :p :P

I wouldn't mind going for a couple of beers with you, mtg101. But, I live so far away from you. One plane ticket to Oslo (appr. £60) and then towards London (probably around £30). Plus, hotel expenses which I am not sure how much it costs. =)
  4. Fuck the Sony boycott (refering to lik-sang news)! I'm gonna go and watch this at cinema.

Based on the data I've collected from this thread the collective age is: Damn. I screwed up on my first try. Worry not! I'll try another time. My age is 26. Collective age currently: 863 year Those in the their 18 years made up the bulk of the age with a collective age of 199 year. There were 11 people in that age group. They were also the biggest age group. Runner-ups were those in their 20 years totalling 140 year. There were 7 people in that age group being also the runner-up in age groups. The youngest age group was the 14 years. They totalled only 28 year. They were also amongst the smallest age group. There were four people who didn't share their age with no one. Those had the age of 31 years, 25 years, 23 years and 27 years (being revealed by another member).
  6. So, did you subscribe to NGamer, bstme? I was a subscriber of N64 Magazine issue 27 with the Hybrid Heaven cover on it, went through NGC Magazine over to NGamer. One annoying thing about it, is their disregard of Golden Sun. Because of this, I try to play Golden Suns as often as possible without getting too bored. That's an art of balancing your love. I do love their feature of anything Nintendo-related, like that "All you need to know about Wii". That was really educating and it was well lay-outed. However, the footnotes are really distracting and all those extra info around the reviews are also very distracting. Makes it hard to read reviews if they are spread around more then two pages. But, that's something I've had to endure since the time of N64 Magazine. Lately I've been thinking about unsubscribing NGamer, so I won't be drown in N64, NGC and NGamer-mags + a couple of old Edge mags in my future flat. There's just so much a man can have in his shelter. =)
  7. Yes, I will strongly advice anyone wondering if they should or if they shouldn't purchase this sweet gem right not to go and buy it. It's far superior to the GBA-versions as it has easier way to reset the game and begin again. You might not clock more then purhaps 10 hours on the game, but that doesn't include all the times one of your characters die and you start the mission again knowing this time more what not to do. On some of the missions I might have done this at least fifty times, maybe even hundreds. You'll do it, because you really care about all the characters and want them all to survive. I won't reveal what happens if you do so, but trust me on this when I tell you that you'll be very pleased indeed. There's also the issue of connecting your GBA-games to the GC-versions to unlock artwork from those games. In my opinion that's a very nice addition, especially if you've gone far in both games. You see, the further you'll reach in the GBA-games the more characters will be unlocked in that game, which in effect gives you more beautiful artwork to gawk at. I promise you, their really nice to look at and I'm not really that great art-lover.
  8. I'm also playing through a lot of games. One includes Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door where I try to level up Paper Mario as high as possible. I currently have 99 Badge Points as level 34 or maybe it was 38. No matter, the point is that I'm still playing my GC on a daily basis. I also tried out Prince of Persia: Sands of Time to play around with the character. The brightness on the little TV living area makes me think I might be able to spot places to go, whereas with my previous TV I didn't dare to have the brightness set too hight since I was recommended not to play videogames on an extended period of time with a high brightness. But, I was a little put off since it wasn't possible to add subtitles for the game. That's pretty important for me as it makes it easier to the dialogue. Also, I found my copy of Waverace: Blue Storm and I want test it out after so many years after. After that, I got Lost Kingdom 1 & 2 I want to play again. This time I might enjoy it even more as I don't that many great games avaible right now.
  9. The thing about Wavebird is that it makes it far easier to pick up and play after you've played a while and you need a short break to make errands during gameplay (could be everything from your daily life, like checking who in the world has been ringing at your door for the effing 11th time) without the danger of entangling yourself in cables. That happens quite often when you live in a limited living area and there are lots of distractions, like the beautiful, hot blonde walking along with her black girlfriend and your pet who thinks the GC handcontroller-cable is the best toy in the world while you hurry your best at the window to hollow at the girls, like: Yo, bitches! You wanna check out my Nintendo-collection? However, doing that you end up stumbling on your GC handcontroller-cable and taking down your GC and home cinema system along with the heavy stand, hurting you in the process and the only thing you can think of that moment: Why the fuck didn't I just invest in that sexy, little Wavebird? My point is this: Wavebird is far more convinient (sorry, this PC doesn't include a Word processor that has english spelling checker) then original GC controller. But, I do miss a force feedback for my Wavebird. I am currently playing Skies of Arcadia: Legends and I'm looking for the second eyestone in Ixa'taka. I already found both the Golden Man and Golden Bird. But, the second eyestone hasn't arrived and the Golden Bird just circles around. I've looked many a times in that circle, but to no avail. And, in that area I think a rumble feature would be beneficial.
  10. My collection of games can be found in club.ign.com under the name dukeTeddy. There's about 117 GC games in it. I'm still not satisfied. I want Battalion Wars, Chibi-Robo and Killer 7 the most off the remaining games before complete completion of GC-games. Yepp, you heard it. I want all the GC-games released, from little unknown, possible gems like Summoner 2 (US-exclusive game) to the afforementioned titles. GC-games seems to be easier to get a complete collection off and more appealing since the baddest graphics doesn't seem to appaling as in N64-games and the games are overall more polished. As for prove, all multiplayer-games are at my parents home as I see no sense in having them home where I got no gamer-friends. Also, a lot of other games I've borrowed to my second cousin's girlfriend and my big brother. I'm also waiting super-patiently for Nintendo to release Game Eye for DS Lite (and maybe for GBA, GBA SP, GBM and DS Phat) so I can take a picture off my games to prove it. Not that I feel the need to do so. I've grown past the need to be believed. Now I only take that as a bonus. Edit: My cell-phone has a camera on it, but I'm not sure it is Bluetooth-enabled as I've yet to get a new SIM-card. So, I haven't grown accustomed to my Nokia 8210 (I think that was my model). Also, I deleted the Bluetooth help files under WINDOWS-map in my laptop and I heard it's impossible to get those files back.
  11. You're right about that Hero-of-Time. I saw that in gamefaqs.com. At least in this game it has proven to be quite a valuable resource to get tips on beating the levels. I don't always to what they tell me, it's just to get some ideas of my own when I play it. I actually like this version over the GBA-versions as it it so much easier to reset the hole (all?) of the game and begin again and again while it seems to be quicker to start over too. I mean X+Y+Start sure beats L+R+Start+Select on GC and GBA respectively.
  12. Oh, I thought it was absolutely gab-smackingly magnificent how the story was told doing with in-animate cutscenes. Kind of adds lots of charm. That what I thought. The end really wasn't that meh. I never expected anything big at the end, but the animated end was meh. But that was because of the bad voice-acting. I wish the animated cutscenes was done with japanese voiceactors with english subtitles. That'd be more convincing. Also, I think it is amazing how the company behind Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex made the cutscenes. Was it Production I.G.? Never saw that in the credits or maybe I did. If I saw Production I.G. in the creds, then I must have forgotten it. Oh, before I forget. Get the game now or you'll regret you didn't get to play it before. The game retailers would also enjoy your money and get more belief in GC games as a reliable source for income and thus make the GC game selection even more varied.
