3DS and Wii U will fade out together or close enough. Their next console/handheld will share the same architecture. It's definitely a step down from how it looked on Wii. People complained about the character models in the original being very basic, I didn't have a problem but this is definitely a further regress. The 3DS is not a Wii afterall. The same way the GBA was not as powerful as the SNES, despite the claims. It doesn't look bad though.

Though we knew he was in, still an awesome video. They do them so well. They should make the Wii U TV ads. Missed large chunks but caught Xenoblade and the new 3DS. Unusual placement for the new nub/C stick. Going to have to get a 3DS sooner or later. Very tempting. Partly what's stopped me so far is I can't see the 3D effect on the 3DS. Maybe the new one will be different with it's wider viewing angle.

Yeah, Animal Crossing fits perfectly, it has that vibe. Starfox, Kirby or Ice Climbers would fit too. There's something jarring and that doesn't sit right with seeing Link there though. I'm glad he's there I think but it's very strange. It would be equally strange seeing Samus if she arrives.

I've a question regarding the DLC and online. Will we be able to choose these courses online? Will it search out only other players that have bought the DLC and won't that make it harder to find players of similar experience points? Or will it search for players as normal and the tracks will only be an option if everybody in the group has purchased the relevant DLC pack? I can't see them letting players who don't own the DLC play the tracks for free online. Scratch that last bit, surely they can't if they're not saved to their system. I don't expect any of ye will have the answer but it will be interesting to find out how it will work.

Thanks for the advice. I've purchased it. Just need to find some time to play it. If more GBA games were at this price I'd have at least Metroid Fusion and Minish Cap purchased a long time ago. I don't think they should be any more than €5.

Should I get Fire Emblem GBA before the sale ends? Is it worth playing? Is it a good entry point? What I mean is I have Fire Emblem for the Wii but never played it. So would I be best off playing this to get used to the latter versions? I've never played any before.
