  1. My GCSEs start May 23rd I've done a fair bit of revision, but like I (try to) tell my mum 'it's not how much you do its how well you do it.'

I hate the way teachers/parents are like 'okay do 1 hour revision a night' so people do it for the sake of it and watch the clock go by and take nothing in, whereas you could sit down for roughly 20 mins or whateverand concentrate and you can take in much more.

I'm lucky, my French Oral could of been either the 8th,9th or 10th. It's the 8th :smile:had it been on the 10th my word that would of been terrible, what with the Nintendo conference on the night before and E3 starting etc. when I'm meant to be revising.

  3. It works in Europe, but I like to play 4-4-2 in the prem  Adebayor and Henry are starting to work well together.

I must say though, I think Reyes has been a massive disappointment this season, hasn't lived up to that £17.5 million price tag one bit. Yes he's got the most assists in the premiership, but as a left winger he needs to run at players, shoot and generally get involved more. I don't really like him on that left midfield position anyway, afterall we bought him to be a striker as thats where he likes to play. Hmm

  4. I just don't understand Arsene Wenger. It's absurd how his team are fighting for 4th position. He could learn a lot from Liverpool.

It's not absurd, it's understandable. This season Wenger has concentrated on bringing up all the young players he has found, and we went through dodgy phases in autumn/winter, which was bound to happen.

However the team have really started to mature since the Madrid game, and I now have a lot of respect for Wenger for the way he has developed the team, rather than just buying it. It was a risk but its now working in our favour, as the future is looking very promising what with the likes of Fabregas,Eboue,Hleb,Diaby and Adebayor getting better and better, the Emirates stadium, and the excitement of Theo Walcott.

And about Wenger learning a lot from Liverpool. LOL. I'm not denying Liverpool are a great team at the moment, and have fantastic success, but Wenger is by far the greatest manager in the Premiership. I admire Rafael Benitez, he's one of my favourite managers but Wenger has nothing to learn from him, its not like he needs a lecture on how to finish 4th from a team that didn't last season.

  5. We've had this stupid discussion many times. It most likely won't happen, Nintendo are making a profit, they aren't going anywhere soon. And even if it was to end up being the last console no-one knows now so why discuss it.

    [lock]

  6. Oh? Please, elaborate!

Just wait till E3, and keep open minded. There are many hints, but I'm not in the mood to find every one from the past year or so right now.

But heres a few quotes just to keep you at bay for now.

    Satoru Iwata:

"We invented the current way a console is played - in front of a television and holding a controller - but maybe that image will change."

    Shigeru Miyamoto:

"I think maybe if I could do anything, I would make it so you don't have to sit in front of a TV and play. If you could have a machine that you just plugged in and played inside a virtual world that - would be just great."

"Sitting in front of your monitor with a controller, there's really nowhere to go from that paradigm, all you can do is make it prettier and faster."

"What Nintendo wants to do is to open up that road, create something that goes beyond."

    - FF3 for the WonderSwan Colour was canned due to terrible timing, the WSC died.

    - The game will use both screens.

    - The game is full 3D.

    - When in fields and towns the top screen will be the map.

    - No map display in dungeons.

    - Bottom screen is the main display because they want to use touchpen gameplay.

    - You can use the touchpen to select everything and navigate menus, etc.

    - Battles commands will be selected using the touchpen as well.

    - Because it's in full 3D, during event scenes the camera will be moved and used effectively.

    - The main party is made up of 3 males and 1 female.

    - While they're giving the characters names and charactistics, the actual story of FF3 will not be altered one bit.

    - There will be additional events and episodes in the game to develop the characters and their backstories.

    - You need Capacity Points to change jobs.

    - Defeated enemies will give gil, exp and cp.

    - This change was made to balance the job system.

    - There will be a total of 23 different jobs.

    - As this is a portable game, there will be a save anywhere function.

  9. What on earth is Mario going in the 1st picture.

A spin jump by the looks of it.

Anyway to the people that come in going 'fake fake blah blah etc.' I never claimed these screens were real, I'm 99% sure they're fake but I was just discussing how I'd be happy if those style of graphics were to be used, and wanted your views.

  10. According to the "next issue" thing in ONM issue 3, the next issue will have:

    [*]The final Revolution secret

subs should get it on the 8th, the day before the Nintendo E3 press confrence,

That's absolute bullshit, there's no way Nintendo would let the final secret get out the day before the conference.
