  1. Elebits was originally touted as a Wii launch game over in the US, but it will miss the November 19 launch date, reports IGN.

The game, which has players using the Wii Remote like a wand to search through domestic environments for energy-giving creatures, is now expected to be released on either December 12 or 18, apparently depending on a pending Nintendo approval process.

We're not due to see the game here in UK until after Christmas anyway, with a European release currently set as Q1 2007, which is a tad vague.

Konami has told CVG that, despite the US delay, the UK release seems to be on schedule, and it's expected to arrive here around March 2007.

Later than expected but at least we have a date, and i don't mind waiting at all.

  2. I totally agree. There was this guy on G-Faqs complaining that the advert sucks as there was no heavy metal music and little action in the trailer, needless to say many disregarded his comments. Personally I think its one of most thoughtout trailers for a game I have seen.

Yeah, one of the things that makes it so special is the fact that it is the total opposite to what the game is really like in that sense.

  3. Anyway GoW hasn't been really hyped I haven't seen all that marketing they did for Halo 2 - and look at how that turned out.

I'm glad microsoft lerns from mistakes

Well the GoW trailer with 'Mad World' in the background is bloody fantastic.

I'm really excited about it, got it preordered for £33.99 which makes it all the more sweet.

  4. So I have just decided that I do indeed want a Wii, but I seem to have come a bit too late, with all the hype and preording malarky. So my question to you is, where should I pre-order it and have a realistic chance of getting it on launch?

I know Amazon have yet to start taking preorders but due to the popularity of the place and the product, I am in no doubt that the alottment of Wii's will be gone in an instant.

    Only just eh Laguna?

I've preordered mine from Gameplay, but it might be a bit late to preorder there. This chould help:
