  1. Translated from gamefront.de:

Elebits is the first WiiConnect24-game. Konami could send new content to users.

The player can edit maps and levels with custom rules (pct.2) in the "Editor Mode" (pct.1) and send them to a friend. You can also take photos (inside story or editor mode) and send those to someone from your friendlist (pct.3) as well.

    Release: 12.08.06 in Japan

It may be only a small online feature but it's good to see it making use of it, and coming out very soon.

  2. Well if you want an extra wiimote it's worth getting Wii Play for £34.99 or so. You get a wiimote free, and considering they cost like £25-30 on their own anyway it's well worth it.

As for my plan for launch, well my Wii preorder is at Gameplay, so should arrive on launch day, and I have Zelda preordered at Play.com(got it for £27.99!) but I worry that won't make it on launch and probably on the saturday instead. I'm going to then use a couple vouchers i have in the city to get Wii Play and some extra stuff.

  3. Homepage updated

This is Masahiro Sakurai of Sora, director of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Hello.

So, the Wii has launched. Are you enjoying it?

As I sit here writing this, it has not yet released where I am, but I am enjoying it nonetheless!

...But not as a consumer. No, I am working with it as I continue with the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. All of us on staff are working very hard, but it will be a little while longer before you can play it!

This time, on the movie page, I have added the Super Smash Bros. Brawl movie we created for the Nintendo World 2006 Wii Hands-On events in Japan. Please take a look.

Oh--and I've also added a few more screen shots.

That yoshi's island stage is so pretty

  4. We were pretty unlucky, 3-1 doesn't do us justice in terms of chances and possession. Our finishing is the major problem right now, Adebayor was extremely disappointing today. Fabregas immense as always, at one point I was just keeping my eyes on him and no-one else, his intelligence of his surroundings and passing is unbelieveable, and I still at times forget he's only 18!

But man, our premiership ambitions are practically faded now  I guess I want it to be a draw tommorow, but then again it's unlikely to affect us now.

  6. I'll be able to play tonight.

Forget Mario Kart, welcome Gears of War Kart!

Following suggestions that Gears of War is to end up a trilogy, Mark Rein has gone one further and suggested it could go on for as long as Mario or even Final Fantasy.

"Gears is a trilogy? If we can keep making quality games that fans obviously then why would we have to stop at three," Epic's vice president mused on the company forum.

"I don't see the Metal Gear Solid, Mario, Grand Theft Auto or Final Fantasy series (among others) stopping at three and they're still delivering compelling entertainment content that's easily worth the money (see Unreal Tournament as well).

"There's definitely, as many of you have pointed out, a lot more to learn about what's really happening on the planet Sera and in the lives of the members of Delta Squad," he added.

Meanwhile, Rein says the team is "working hard to support Gears of War" with "some great enhancements" due before too long. "We're not ready to provide any details yet but I assure you we're on the job," he added.

Very promising stuff, as long as it isn't whored

  7. Henry has got a neck injury and will miss tommorow's TOUGH game against Bolton away. 5.15 Premiership Plus, will be looking forward to it while I am doing my Philosophy coursework all day :hehe:

  8. Super Mario RPG

    Chrono Trigger

    Terranigma

    Earthbound

    Illusion of Time

    - > All epic SNES RPGs that i've always wanted to immerse myself into from what i've seen and heard. I also tried Earthbound once and I thought it was magic. I'd also love some games that only got released in to Japan to get translated but I know the chances are practically impossible e.g. Fire Emblems, the Dragonball Z RPG on SNES

  9. I really am a sucker for these kind of threads.

    Anyway...

GameBoy - Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

    GameBoy Colour - Pokemon Silver

    GameBoy Advance - Golden Sun

DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

N64 - Zelda: Ocarina of Time

    Gamecube - Skies of Arcadia

    Wii - Zelda: Twilight Princess

    Dreamcast - Shenmue

    CD-I - The Apprentice

    Xbox - Halo

Xbox 360 - Gears of War

Oh and you can include games you played on another console to that it was originally on, e.g. I don't have an N64 or Xbox 1 but played OOT on GC and Halo on 360.
