  1. Mario Party 4 is the only MP game I have and its fantastic fun, I haven't got any of the others but nintendo are making them a little too much. I've heard they aren't having as much time put into them and feel cheap, and Mario Party Advance is an example that the series is going downhill a bit.

I'm not getting another Mario Party game for a while, but Mario Party with the revolution, online, is almost a guaranteed purchase from me.

  2. ..Well, kinda.

    • All I can say is, we're very aware of how important multiplayer is for possible future versions of Battalion Wars.
    • IGNcube: Have you started work on a Battalion Wars sequel for Revolution yet?

Tancred Dyke-Wells: I can't say anything about a sequel. All I can say about this right now is that we are continuing to have positive discussions with Nintendo.
    • IGNcube: Fantastic. We've got our fingers crossed. What do you think about the Revolution controller? How would you like to use the device, given the chance, with future Battalion Wars titles?

Tancred Dyke-Wells: We're hugely excited about the possibilities of the Revolution and its controller. The office went bananas when we first saw it in action. For me, Revolution is far and away the most challenging and interesting platform to consider developing for. The implications of the controller are huge. For aiming, and for ordering, just imagine a system so intuitive that the player can indicate "you -- go there!" with a gesture.

Sounds promosing! And yeah BW would be extremely well suited to REV, but then again nearly all games and genres would. :hehe:

  3. Anyone know how much the games are going to be? Gameplay have listed them as £39.99, which although would be fairly normal for a shop, its expensive because GC/PS2/Xbox games are all £10 cheaper than RRP(All £29.99)

I hope this doesn't hint towards the games being as much as £45-£50 in shops and £40 on net :hmm:

  4. The thing is, even if PS3 has slightly more power, I've heard 360 can still perform better visually. Power isn't everything you know. Also, 360 and REV will be easy to develop for, whereas i've heard PS3 won't and developers are starting to drop support because it is expensive and difficult to develop for.

  5. Anyone else like Robbie Williams's new song? I didn't like it at first but after listening to a few times I'm addicted to it, its great. Anybody else like?

I thought it was about time Robbie brought a new song, aint seen his face in a while :heh:

Radio is the one song from him I dislike the most, I thought it was really not up to his standard, but I'm liking Tripping

  6. Completed this game at 1:15 this morning and all I can say is WOW! Fantastic throughout and easily one of my favourite all time games!

:hehe: Its my favourite RPG ever, and my 2nd favourite game of all time. The experience was just phenomunal(sp?) it felt like a magical escape from life.

Now join the Skies of Arcadia fans like me, and pray for SOA2 :heh:

  7. *sighs at people missing great games*

Stocka are you trying to diss me? Just because I aren't a fanboy? ¬_¬

Of course not, fanboys get on my nerves I love you the way you are, its just annoying when you talk about how proud you are to have all consoles, and think that everyone else should be the same but some of us can't afford it you say. not only that, but GC has offered enough to keep me satisfied this gen, and there have been enough of my favourite genres, RPGs, to keep me occupied. Yes, okay, PS2 has tons of them, and plenty I'm sure are amazing but i'm happy with what I've got and don't feel I should be pressurized to get a PS2 for RPGs just because I say Skies of Arcadia is my favourite RPG and you go on to say "Theres loads better on PS2 so you should get it."

Sorry Dom, no offense or anything but it just gets on my nerves.

And anyway, I'm getting 360 and revolution for sure, and maybe even PS3 too just to let you know. And I'd rather wait till PS3 to play those PS2 games then get one now.

  8. If people want to be healthy do exercise, no need do bann unhealthy foods. They should be there if we want them, doesn't mean we have to eat them. Jesus, if people want to get fit, don't diet, do excercise, dieting is bad for you anyway. Eat healthily but don't worry too much and have the occasional unhealthy thing, but as long as you do sport or exercise you'll be fine.

I eat bloody loads, in fact I'm a pig when it comes to food really, but i'm not fat because I train loads and do boxing training. so there you have it, someone who eats LOADA(and not all of it healthy) yet he still has a sixpack because of training :heh:

  9. I wouldn't buy one unless it was literally free, and then I'd sell it on ebay. Possibly destroying one of them, and making a video of it.

lmao. Yeah I don't want one even at that price, mainly based on the fact I hate Sony so much and it doesn't appeal to me massively. Call me 'ninty fanboy' this fanboy that, but I think of myself as more of a Sony 'hateboy,' because I don't have anything wrong with Microsoft/Sega etc, but Sony I hate.

*Awaits Domstercool to moan and groan about how much he loves stroking his ps2 and how he's so proud to have all systems*

  10. I can't see Revolution beign able to match the amount of great games that I will be able to get, especially RPG.

Why? It will have a standard controller shell too for 'standard gaming' and with the recent news from Iwata that the graphics will look pretty much the same to XB360, there is no way Revolution can't have say an RPG on Xbox 360 because of the controller/graphics. Rev will be capable of playing standard games on the 360 just fine, if not better.
