  1. Before jumping to assumption fellas, look around ambiguity.

Will the Xbox 360 offer a new gaming experience? No.

Will the Xbox 360 offer a different gaming experience? Yes.

Dare you deny that the xbox 360 and Revolution take 2 completely different approaches?

Oh sorry I miss understood you :eer:

Oh well got my opinion across :heh:

    PS3 = Better Graphic power = Revolution

X360 = Better Graphic power = No revolution

That's what I got from that post.

No, its just that the 360 graphics are barely a MASSIVE step from this gen whereas PS3 are, thus making games look so different they will change the way we play.

By the way, i'm not a new Choze defending the PS3 and such, in fact, many will know what a huge hater of sony I am and refuse to buy their consoles. I'm getting a 360+ a Revolution too, so no i'm not saying REV+PS3 RULEZORZ!!11 360 T3H SUXXORS!LOL!!111

  2. Just played the trail for the first time, and it seems to be really great and I look forward to it, but it just kind of feels weird to get use to, or is it just me?

I think once I get use to if for a few weeks I'll love it, but loading it up for first time its like wer-wer -wha? lol.

  3. Ermm.......

    No.

Seconded. Athriller, it doesn't exactly change the gaming experience much from this gen, does it. Okay, better graphics, improved Xbox Live etc. and i'm not denying the console will be great because i'm looking forward to it as its bound to have some excellent games, but you said it will offer a much different experience. when clearly it doesn't. The Rev will, because, well the controller speaks for itself, and the PS3 will offer a much different experience to this gen too, because of the insane graphic power, but still not as different to REV. PS3 and REV are ultimately changing the way we play games, whereas 360 isn't doing that, but still offering what looks to be a fantastic console with plenty of third party support.

  4. Following the news of various different companies backing Nintendo's Revolution, Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox (the creators of Brothers In Arms), has stated '...I look forward to the challenge of making games for it < Nintendo Revolution >. There are a few ideas...that I think would be very appropriate for the interface options the Revolution provides.'

Third party support is looking promising at the moment, I've never played Brothers in Arms but i've heard good things about it and I'm sure it would be extremely fun with the REV, using the controller as a gun hopefully :)

  5. I absolutely love VJ1, and finally got VJ2 recently. I haven't had much time to play it, but so far its great fun. It plays identical to the original, which is great for fans but I can understand why the reviews wouldn't be so high. Basically, if you like VJ you need 2.

  6. I've been considering whether to get it a lot(never played Fable on xbox) but as i'm a big RPG fan it appeals a lot to me. Gamespot gave it a 8.6, and I often liek their reviews so thats encouraging, but i like to her the verdict from many gamers too. The reason I am worried I might not like it is because it doesn't sound like the typical RPG I like(Skies of Arcadia, ToS... etc.)

advice please, and anyone else getting it? It's out this friday.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz at the Tokyo Games Show, Xbox VP Peter Moore has praised Nintendo's "innovation with the new [Revolution] controller", and reiterated the need for the industry to grow into new markets.

"I want to give kudos for Nintendo for its attempt at innovation with the new controller," Moore commented, saying that the new device would -"bring people in that, as Iwata-san said, are either lapsed gamers or gamers that are intimidated by the complexity of the controller."

"We need to grow as an industry," he concluded. "Having a simplified controller is one tactic in what is a larger strategic battle we need to face to grow this business."

  8. Stocka, get an N64 and an expansion pak. Then, buy Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark, F zero X and play them all as nature intended. :heh:

No, theres no point really getting it when I have it on ZCE. But even so, i couldn't afford it anyway, I'm buying so much in the next few months. Such as Nintendogs,Mario Kart,Fire Emblem, Kameo, Age of empires III, Shenmue,Shenmue II, Sonic Rush, Lost in blue, Xbox 360(well, xmas), PD0(maybe), and others I've probably forgotten.

  9. Intelligent Systems are fast becoming one of my favourite developers. Paper Mario: Tttyd and the Advance Wars games are so fantastic that the thought of being the same developer of them alone makes me want Path of Radiance. I'm a massive fan of RPGs, and I'm a big fan of Advance Wars, so logically I should like it, but i have that worry that for some reason I won't
