  1. EvilGamerz states that info from their sources shows that two versions of Twilight Princess will be available, a Revolution version and a GameCube version. The site lets us know that the sources that gave them this info also told them about GTA: Liberty City Stories, and Hitman: Blood Money before they were officially announced…so they have some credibility.

The Revolution version will obviously support the Revmote fully, which would change the entire way you play the game. The Cube version will be the exact same game as the Revo one, just without Revo functionality. The article also says that there is still another secret to the Revolution version that has not been talked about yet, but we can expect to hear something at E3 I would think.

While this story is not confirmed, EvilGamerz has a pretty good track record in my book. They also reported that Nintendo has another secret…and we all know that the Big N loves their secrets! Even if the entire rumor turns up false, we definitely know that Nintendo will always have secrets for us to drive ourselves nuts with.

Well if thats true I'm definately buying both. Makes sense anyway, and if you think about it is probably the best choice Nintendo could make.

  2. I loved Wonderful Life but after playing a while it really isn't that rewarding so I stopped playing. I'm waiting for the more exciting Harvest Moon game on DS, Rune Factory. Looks awesome, online too.

Rune Factory is spin-off of the Harvest Moon series, part of a re-invention of the franchise for its 10th anniversary. Described by producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto as Harvest Moon where you wield a sword, the game has being developed with the idea of creating a fantasy world in which the player exists, rather than the standard type of RPG where you play the role of a hero and work your way through a storyline. You are able to capture monsters, raise them on your farm, and add them to your adventuring party

Rune Factory's network mode seems to be somewhat limited. Players will be able to exchange messages with friends and open up a shop to sell items. There should be a few other network features beyond this, although we've heard nothing about actual cooperative play.

  3. if games are gunna be brand new "£50" like on the 360 im just gunna use my rev for the retro greatness...theres no way im forking out 50 pound on a new game....sure when down to £30 or so i may thou

Well for a start despite Xbox 360 games having an RRP of £50 you can buy them off websites like Gameplay.co.uk for £40.00, £10 cheaper!

And anyway its likely Rev games will be cheaper anyway as we know thats what Nintendo will aim to do.

  4. Cubed3 have an interview with Interactive Brains, developers of the new DS game Deep Labyrinth. Deep Labyrinth is an action RPG with an FPS style and magic system.

Anyway in the interview [http://www.cubed3.com/news/4843] Revolution is mentioned several times.

C3: What are your thoughts on the Nintendo Revolution and its unique control system? Has it sparked any ideas within the team so far?

MT: I think it is very interesting. A lot of ideas have come out. I want to publish the game for it if there is a chance.

C3: Do you think Deep Labyrinth would work well on a system like the Nintendo Revolution? And are there any plans to support the new system?

MT: Yes. I think that this system can make the best use of our game. It is possible for porting.

C3: Do you think Nintendo's strong emphasis on innovation and new ideas (with the DS and Revolution) will help it become the dominant force in gaming that it once was?

MT: Yes. I strongly agree. The gaming world has evolved due to the historical evolution of hardware and its interface.

  5. IGN's E3 list

Maybe not so much an APF, but an uncautious error. On the gamelist IGN published for the upcoming E3, we only see The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the new Zelda DS, is most certainly also coming to E3 though, don't worry.

The E3 List [http://games.ign.com/articles/698/698570p1.html]isn't the final list, it is the list of all titles that have been confirmed to be at E3 so far. It will be updated loads over the next month.

  6. Don't care about anything but the games, it's what makes a console.

Yes games makes a console, but your saying if Nintendo revealed the final Rev secret and it was something big like steroscopic 3D...you wouldn't care? Yeah right.

  7. Its strange because on paper you have a great team in my opinion, good enough to at least be in the top 10. As much as I like David O'Leary the team must no longer be motivated by him, perhaps he'll go in the summer?

Whatever happens I hope you do much better next season, I'm sure you won't go down

  8. The big E3 list is up at IGN! I remember it last year, t'was exciting seeing it being updated every so often.

    http://games.ign.com/articles/698/698570p1.html

NOTE: This is NOT the final list of all the games to be at E3, but an up to date list of every title that has been confirmed to be at E3 so far.

So keep an eye on it:smile: There's usually no suprises as they won't reveal the names till E3 but its still exciting anyway.

And I doubt they'll list any Rev games...

  10. Its quite freaky how close it is now. By the time my easter holidays are up it will be just under 3 weeks till the Nintendo Conference. Can't wait to see the final secret more than anything, then the games. Surely there'll be a lovely trailer for SSBR?

  11. Im the same, I can't just lie there and do nothing, im always thinking about more productive things I could be doing.

Yeah same, I just HAVE to be doing something. I'll relax on a sofa while watching a film for example, but I can't just lie on the sofa and stare at the wall, or sleep in the daytime.

  12. What a superb day, Tottenham lose 3-1 to Newcastle and we win just 5-0

We continued our good form today and were fantastic, the youngsters are really maturing and gelling well together. Adebayor was excellent, gives us so much strength upfront. And that 3rd goal   Absolute class, as was Van Persies. Well all the goals were great really. Must see on motd...

  13. So I got my new copy(and all discs work fine!) and what a better way to get back into the world of Shenmue than play a lovely 3 1/2 hour session :heh: Never usually play games for that long, but I just couldn't help it.

The amount of detail is shockingly incredible. I thought Hong Kong was HUGE and was so impressed, and then I go to Kowloon....OMFG the place is massive, so full of detail and life. I could go on about how impressive it is for ages...:awesome:

The time when you are following Yuana, christ that went on for a while! I kept messing up too hehe. Ren has to be one of my favourite videogame characters ever, he's cooler than the word cool itself :heh:

  14. Theres like 18 days still to go till Easter Sunday....

Anyway I've asked for an egg and some creme eggs. I get less and less every year but as long as I get at least one creme egg i'll be happy lol.:awesome:

I remember one year I got 8, that was immense.

  15. I can't believe i'm having this argument but anyway...

Why do people feel that the image of consoles and games is more important than how fun it is. Mario for example is colourful and cartoony so yes its bound to appeal to kids, but why does that mean anyone else who isn't a kid can't enjoy it too. Games don't need violence, blood and swearing to be enjoyable, afterall thats what gaming is all about, enjoyment.
