Great shots Goafer, as usual. Just wondering did you take them as RAW and then edit the +/- exposure later or did you do 3 .jpg photos? Here's one I've been playing around with, ended up a bit mental but...meh. Photomatrix seems to add a lot of noise and grain when I tone map it and I'm not sure why and I wish I had taken a much better original photo but I'm still learning a new program.

Hehe, I'm the same sometimes. I dug some more info up on the video since I became obsessed with the beefy soldier at the start of the clip. Yes, I'm strange. Found him out to be Aaron Melcher, a married (to a women, damn) 24-year-old soldier who seems to have become somewhat of a reluctant celebrity. Sorry Eenuh, I don't check that thread since I never seem to find any of the content actually funny. In the grand scheme of things does it really matter? I suppose it hold more relevance in one thread than another is true but... meh, it still hold some relevance here. If you want something that's really 100% LGBT on topic then I've seen these over the last few days: "A Vancouver music teacher and founder of a children's choir says she was effectively fired from Little Flower Academy, an independent Catholic school, after school officials learned she was a lesbian whose partner just gave birth." [Link] There is also a very good article here which I got handed to me on another forum which covers marriage equity. WIN. And finally the NOH8 campain has received a facelift with a new website up now and it looks like the Prop 8 trail will see its closeing arguments in June.

I think it's just some lighthearted fun, and those guys are out in the middle of nowhere so the fact they managed to pull anything together amazes me. Still, I wonder what the insurgents would feel if they saw that. The video goes to show that even them who could be considered the most masculine, those out fighting for a living, still love to camp it up!

[Aggregate] Liverpool 2 - 2 Atlético Madrid (Atlético Madrid lead holding one "home" goal and one "away" goal while Liverpool hold two "home" goals.) *End of 120 mins Second Game* It would have been the same even if the two goals scored in extra time were scored in the standard 90 minutes right?

Depends upon how you define "geek". The forum here is very diverse, take me for example. I barely tread into anything below the Creative Gallery; I think I post once every few weeks in anything in the Console Talk section. So I wouldn't consider that "geeky" at all, and there are many of us who do that, just stay in General Chit-Chat. This whole forum is broke into micro-forums, each I suppose can be judged as seen fit.

SimCity 4 - I draw emphasis to the 4 because there have been sequels in the SimCity series since most notable SimCity Societies, which was just damn awful. What I would like is a true mayoral simulator not some "social engineering simulator", A true city builder. I still play SimCity 4 today, it's such a wonderful game. The detail is astounding and the splash of humour is brilliant. The graphics still look fantastic today and once you start to explore the huge fan-made custom content the possibilities becomes almost endless. SimCity 4 was the last true SimCity game, building the metropolis was fun but what I most enjoyed was once you had that you could then expand. Build commuter towns around the outskirts, expand you suburbs and then watch as your people go on the train lines you built across the entire city to work. Watch the traffic jams build near rush hour and watch police patrol rough neighbourhoods at night, It was a game built for gorwn-ups. Unfortunately Maxis has been disbanded so it would seem there will never be a SimCity 5. SimCity 4 + Custom Content and mods is SimCity 5, SimCity 4 was the pinnacle of the series, it is being kept alive by the wonderful fan-made communities. PlanetSide - Ah, Planetside. My love. For 3 years I played what was called the world's first massively-multiplayer online first-person-shooter, It wasn't, Neocron was. Alas, Planetside was outstanding when it was new. 3 factions thousands of players, soldiers, medics, engineers, pilots, drivers, commanders the roles were extensive and the degree of interdependency within the roles was what made it special. Assaulting a base from a nearby outpost while waiting for the commanders to organise a successful attack on the bases power supply. Under fire from enemy snipers while watching the air support above battle it out with the opposition factions air force. At times you wonder if Sony bit off more than they could chew. The game suffered from lack luster development, a publisher rushing to push it out and severe performance issues but when it was good, it was really good. Sony are working on a sequel, Planetside Next. One hopes they keep the same factions from the original (After a while you really felt an affiliation with your chosen alliance, you began to despise the others) and just work on a solid game play base before trying anything fancy. The potential is outstanding. A persistent battlefield, advanced character development, 1000's of online players, this was the FPS which evolved. For land, for power, forever.

I think I'm the same, it's the affection that appeals to me. I too am not sure if it is some personality thing or not but from experience I've found that while many put forward a tough outer image many also just want this affection. Some guys who would make straight people look gay, and could be considered rather intimidating, just want a cuddle at the end of the day.

Ah I see, I'd love to see your stand up sometime. What kind of things do you do? I'm more into dark comedy myself, the stuff which makes you think "Should I be laughing at this?". I would love to do another. The first two are here, and here, retrospectively. There have been a lot of posts since, 8000 odd. and since it took me 2 hours to go through 600 I can't see one coming soon. I too am often torn in this situation. Do you keep talking or not? I tend just to mumble to myself. Wow, that's some distance. Where abouts in Aus is he?

It will come as no surprise to most of you that I often crawl through various gay tumblr and other such blogs. A few things I've picked up over the time I thought I might share. There is quite a interesting video here of Fox News diva Julie Banderas "interviewing" Westboro Baptist Church leader, Shirley Roper-Phelp. At around 1:01 it starts to get tasty. Every time I see anything about this "church" it astounds me. Speechless. Here's something to lighten the mood.
