What the hell were they thinking? I can see sony and x-box fanboys christening it "THE PEE WEE". You have to explain what Wii means, with revolution you have an idea of what it means. I hope this is some kind of sick joke. Looking at the posts on various boards the majority of people hate it.

C'mon that's the best they can do! I can understand why HD is not included but how much money does it cost to come up with a good name? What a fugly word! They had a great name, alot of people knew it and they leave it so late to change it to this. Revolution says something this says .... ? I don't care what the website says. I hope they are real. Those look really good and I think there will be a Icarus game. I think Dead Phoenix will rise from the flames. Remember Capcom was developing that game and it got cancelled. The more I think about it the more it seems possible. Miyamoto has dropped a few hints as well.

I think Mario will be a launch title. Nintendo admitted before that it was a mistake to launch the gamecube without him. I don't think SSB will be there at the start though, it hasn't been in development very long and high standards are expected. Also you got to think of when the Revolution launches. If it's at Christmas then they'll want to get them out the door as it's the biggest sales period. If however it's around September they could stagger the releases, like how SSBM came out a couple of months after the gamecube launch.

I think they'd use just a button for the shield. There's no need to use a controller for a simple action.

I hope Capcom, Konami and Sega come on board. Especially Konami with Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. Sega: Streets of Rage, Altered Beast, Sonic. Capcom: Street Fighter and Megaman. I'd say this could be a killer app alone as long as the prices aren't too high. Bring some old gamers back.

As well as buying the downloads I wonder if we can use existing stars from the gamecube to purchase these games or maybe you'll get stars with the games for 1st party revolution games. Collect enough stars and get a free download. Hopefully they'll expand this to third parties. Played alot of those games though I'd definitely be interested in Sin & Punishment and Super Mario RPG!

That's the thing, look how much he has written. That took a hell of alot more than 5 minutes and that's not just the typing. If it's fake then he is one sad #######! Why would someone do that?

It would be good if it were true, some of it sounds plausible. I remember a game called "game zero" which was supposed to be a killer app for the gamecube and Nintendo were rumoured to have helped out a bit with the game. But the amount of polygons being mentioned in game are just crazy! This person if the stories are lies would've had to spend alot of time coming up with these ideas and remembering old news and rumours. Like Too Human and RE5 and the new game from Clover Studios. Most things sound plausible except for polygons. Also referring to DCK I think he was saying they copied their strengths not mixing the engines together. It could well be all bs and probably is but it was interesting, especially that game from Capcom called "The Joys Of Lights".

How many disks do you think the game is going to be on considering this game is goiing to be huge? Will it require switching disks a fair bit? Will there be a point where you won't be able to go back and you'll have to switch disks? OOT you could explore everywhere with no restrictions. I think the game is gonna be on 3 disks(Tri-force). Don't want it crammed on 2 discs with alot of compression. Was thinking they might put the dungeons on 1 or 2 discs. I'd like 4 them to bring out a special edition for the revo. The games should all fit on 1 disc for it. Don't know what it is but I don't like having a game broken up. Maybe extra content? Though that's not fair on the loyal gamecube fans. But it could help sales.

They've not denied so you never know. What have they spent all that extra time on? Guarantee it'll use the revo controller, it makes too much sense not too.

With the revolution controller I think I'm gonna have to get used to using the nunchaku attachment in the right hand and the free hand controller in the left for aiming in FPS. I always thought lefties had it easier using standard controllers. Also in Zelda:Twilight Princess, Link is left handed but wouldn't it be a bit backwards swinging the sword with your right hand and the other actions as well. Games like Mario would probably be easier using the nunchuka in the left hand depending on how complicated the actions get. I guess we'll just have to see when it comes out but I think it'll be a bit awkward and will have to learn controlling using either hand depending on the game.

Has anyone else seen this? It's dated May but I never seen that before. It's looks cool and if revo does graphics like that then I'm happy. There's a bit in there with the console monitoring your movements.
