shade Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Yea I notcied the bit about Wii Sports.Did the European DS box say a demo of Prime Hunters was bundled with it or anything? It would be a sticker on the front, this is done so they can change the package anytime with out changing the box
flameboy Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I would have thought it was more feasable that the start-up disc would hold all the first firmware pieces, such as the shop channel, photo channel and such and such. The development console that Matt at IGN got had no channels except the disc channel, so it would make alot of sense. It would save them development cost aswell. I was just about to suggest this myself, before going back and reading that you'd written it! I think this is exactly what it is. it would save development costs as you would have no firmware being loaded on, just whack a disc in the box with it all on.
solitanze Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Alternative option: Pack up shop and move to the United States or Japan so you can experience NTSC goodness in its REAL environment.
