Alan77 Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 You don't HAVE to use the official one as in US they have found one that works with Wii and only cost $15 (Kinamax NT-USB20 if you wanna search for it) It just has to have the right chipset/software in it. Just a case of finding a compatible one.
arab_freak Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 plain and simple no. Tried and it said you dont have the official conector plugged in, available spring etc. So it seems we can only use the official one with it. I woder what else those USB are for then if we can even use this little adaptor with it? I've seen im ages of a mouse being powered by it but it didnt work. Why did they add them then? The PS2 has them, and not a lot of accessories have used them. I would use it to charge my iPod while playing.
Domstercool Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Ah, too late though as I use my DS dongle with my Wii. Well I even use my PSP with it now as I managed to find some hacked drivers for it.
Bogbas Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 And wireless networks sucks at gaming. Why? Well this comes a bit late. But here goes: Wireless connections just lag more than a wired one. There's more packet loss, which doesn't show if you browse the web or play a slow-paced game online. But when you play fps's and other games that require fast actions, you'll notice it.
