I just turned on my computer, and a flashing pop up came up when i logged onto the internet. it said 'mwwah i control your computer now!' and then my computer went weird. my desktop dissappeared on the normal Windows screen with the 'Start' on the bottom left corner, i cant open any thinks like my documents, my computer etc. any idea wot i can do?? is this a virus?? (now to open my documents etc.. i have to right click on them and select search. then it pops up with the search box and i continue from there) HELP PLEASE!!! Bogbas Posted July 20, 2006 Share Posted July 20, 2006 Hmm you're being hacked or it's a virus. Disconnect it from the internet. How good are you with computers? And do you have one that isn't infected, to browse the web? Edit: Download a virus scanner from the web with the latest updates and run it on the pc. Also download ad-aware and run that also.
