Guest Jordan
I'm looking for some blank brackets (atleast thats what one website calls them). If you don't know what i mean, its this thing: If anyone knows where i can find some PLEASE message back. Having 2 gaping holes in the back of my PC is kinda annoying me. Thanks. Jon
What case have you got? I'd check Ebay, as they aren't readily available to buy.
Charlie
I'll shove a couple out of the back of my computer for a fair price
Guest Jordan
They're just standard PCI/AGP dummy brackets, i don't think you need anything special for cases. They're all the same in terms of slot size. And Moria, they're worth about 50p each apparently. Oh yeah, i've checked ebay, dabs, ebuyer and maplin. Shorty
If you find anywhere to buy them from let me know cos I'm missing 2 or 3 myself. Lots of dust gets in.
Ollie
I could probably supply some, I have loads lying around at home and at work. I would refer to them as 'blanking plates'.
Guest Jordan
Got some! "Back Plates" http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Computer-PC-Case-Back-Plates_W0QQitemZ6893174226QQcategoryZ51064QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Shorty
I notice the guy says it helps "air flow" and "keeping things cool". I've had a few problems with overheating lately, could those missing panels really be enough to add an extra unwanted 5-10º?
Guest Jordan
You'de be supprised shorty. Gaping holes in the back of a computer means that any circulation you have going is pretty much useless.
