Hmmm... reitterating what we already knew I suppose. Still, good to know that they're not killing themselves with this.

 

EDIT: Seems this was said about the Wii name at the conference... why don't they just pos the whole transcript so I don't look like a fool?!

I wouldn't mind if they took a loss for the sake of the console price. Let's hope it's not the $250.

I'm looking forward to hear the final price. Hopefully I'll afford the console + any great games as soon as the great games comes for it.

I couldn't give a damn whether or not they take a loss. It isn't my money. I don't understand this fascination with game companies making sales/profit, as none of us see a cent/penny of this money. It could be argued that their revenue ties directly into the future existence in the games market, but Nintendo make a killing on the handheld market. Such a killing infact, their jolly little console fishing boat is going to stay afloat for possibly all eternity.

 

I think the fans worry more about when Nintendo takes a financial loss than Nintendo themselves.
