Still, good to know that they're not killing themselves with this. EDIT: Seems this was said about the Wii name at the conference... why don't they just pos the whole transcript so I don't look like a fool?! http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D8I3AL8O1.htm?sub=apn_tech_down&chan=tc
DCK Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I wouldn't mind if they took a loss for the sake of the console price. Let's hope it's not the $250.
myster0n Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 It seems that Nintendo have forgotten about me : I'll buy so many games, they won't ever have a loss (Hell, I have over 100 games for the GC)
Tailzo Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I'm looking forward to hear the final price. Hopefully I'll afford the console + any great games as soon as the great games comes for it.
Kav Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 This, I hope, bodes well for the price we should be paying!
The3rdChildren Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I couldn't give a damn whether or not they take a loss. It isn't my money. I don't understand this fascination with game companies making sales/profit, as none of us see a cent/penny of this money. It could be argued that their revenue ties directly into the future existence in the games market, but Nintendo make a killing on the handheld market. Such a killing infact, their jolly little console fishing boat is going to stay afloat for possibly all eternity. I think the fans worry more about when Nintendo takes a financial loss than Nintendo themselves.
