I am happy that Nintendo hit it off at E3. The Wii looks awesome. I was not expecting 360 or PS3 graphics, but the graphics look great to me. I can't wait to get my hands on the Wiimote. I have noticed that some people are mad that the Wii might be a little over $200. I think that Nintendo will throw in the controller for the virtual console and maybe Nintendo Sports. The first three games I will by are Metroid Prime 3, Legend of Zelda and Metal Slug Anthology (I love Metal Slug). I would like to know what you think of the Wii.

The Wii... I'll admit it, the concept didn't appeal to me when I first heard of it - it was innovative but it wasn't what I wanted, what I was used to. But then I thought about it and if Nintendo is going to stay in this market for the long term they need something new and exciting to throw out, attract new gamers and generally regenerate their reputation.

Now I have taken some time out and listened to everyones perception of the Wii I am very happy at the thought. Wii Sports appeals to me, the idea being so simple yet it is what games should be like. Why are controllers full of buttons now-a-days? Remember the days when it was your four directions and your action buttons. When they moved into 3D they did the best they could - the analogue stick. And now with the Wii-mote they moved into proper 3D. I'm sure we'll see them make it even better but for now it is the best I am hoping for.

Personally the Wii hasn't overly impressed me. Its viable and will sell a lot better than the GC but they could have done so much more. The generation after is the one I am particularly looking foreward to - basically because I will have finished my degree and will be in the industry hopefully. Although graphis don't make or break a game I have got so used to PC gaming over the last few months that taking a step back will feel so strange to me...

But the games do interest me. Wii Sports is a highly anticipated title for me, MP3, Twilight Princess, Galaxy and Dragon Quest. This is Nintendo and you can guarnatee that their games will be enjoyable and if they can deliver half ot he promises of innovation, enjoyment and entertainment that they have been telling the industry will come, then I will be a very happy customer.

I want a Wii and I want it now.

I'm not too happy with the graphics but that's many because I haven't seen any good high res videos yet so I couldn't see textures and lighting and such. But in the end if the game is very good the graphics don't matter the slightest (I learned that while playing MP Hunter, prefere the graphics to the GC ones actually).

But my excitement is overshadowed by disappointment because I was sure there would be stereoscopic 3D and I'll cling to that hope until I hook my Wii up to the TV and am proven wrong.

wii=fun

that is the way i look at it. fun and games. those are 2 words that rely on each other. it is not a game if it is not fun, it is no fun if it is not a game.

i dont want to go around a realistic new york stealling cars that look real and cut peoples throats so that i can actually feel the blood spirting. that is not gaming and it is not fun. i think the industry has lost its way and i think the wii will bring back what i miss about gaming pure unrivelled fun.

I'm pretty hyped for the Wii, but don't think that they've been getting the best from the graphics (Mario Galaxy excluded).

I've seen some SSBB models up close and they're pretty naff fto be honest, appart from the look of some of the clothes; however, this game is FAR from completion and they've said they're going to smooth it all out anyway.

The games I'm really looking forward to are:

Metroid

Zelda

Wario Ware

SSBB

Mario

There are also a few others I'm keeping my eye on such as Excite Truck, Monkey Ball and quite a few others; I just hope that by the end of the year there will be loads more games shown & announced from 3rd parties.

The true next gen is wii to me. Graphics alone don't cut it anymore, not to mention that the only game that made me go wow so far was oblivion because of the sceneries. Graphic wise SSBB and Mario Galaxy are a pretty good indication that graphics aren't too far from 360 SD, since Nintendo is working with more advanced dev kits than 3rd parties.

The Wii graphics look decent to me. I am not a graphic whore. The 360 and PS3 graphics did not blow me away. Please don't think Im a Nintendo Fan boy, Im just not excited about HD graphics. I heard some where on the net that the Wii games at E3 where running on a suped up GC. Is this true? Mario Galaxy looked Beautiful.
