Ashley Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Think ive managed to get my friend's band on "Off the Chart Radio" (internet radio), sure it won't be the hugest exposure or anything, but it'll be cool. So other than getting a mic and sticking it next to my speakers, anyway to record a live stream of music off the internet? Thanks people.

Ashley Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 In a word: Goldwave. Had a brief look but im off to bed. Presume you just select a source, put in the URL and click record? Ill give it an eye tomorrow but just wondering. Ta by the way.
Twozzok Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 If you don't mind not listening to it, or have another source of listening to it, you could run your speaker output into your mic input. With a 2.5mm <-> 2.5mm cable.
AshMat Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Freecorder is pretty good for that Im pretty sure it does radio recording, if not you can just record through "What U Hear"
Bogbas Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Just set the recording source to wave and you can record it from any recording software you like.
Chris_Mac Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I use streambox vcr, it's good for downloading BBC radio stuff
