RpgN Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Yeah after hearing gripes with the lack of story/repetitiveness in the Cube version they really need to pull it out the bag. Final Fantasy is just button pushing style gaming without the story. That's not true at all, my friend. All FF games are known for their great story en lovely characters. But when you look at crystal chronicles, you see that there is still some story left. Only not as much as you would like Game Designer Studio know their mistake now, so maybe we'll get a better story plus some online gaming

AMN is reporting that Square Enix President Yoichi Wada has stated Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will have "online capabilities, magnificent graphics, and an intense use of the revolutionary control of the platform." In addition, it has also been confirmed for a 2006 release, thus making it likely for the launch window. Update - EuroGamer.net has confirmed with a Square Enix spokesperson that this news is false, unfortunately. Ah well, so we don't know exactly when it will be released, but at least it's in development!
Union James Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I never got the chance to play Crystal Chronicles on multiplayer. The only real problem with the game was the inaccesibility of the 4 player mode and since this versionis going to be wifi, it may even be as good as the standard final fantasies!(though it'll need a bit more story IMO!)
