drahkon
Transference™ is a psychological thriller and the first game collaboration between SpectreVision and Ubisoft. Bridging the gap between movies and games, we invite you to lose yourself in the destructive tale of a man’s obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories. Experience the limits of techno-psychology and escape a maze-like puzzle concealing a corrupted truth. Get projected into the digital consciousness of troubled case subjects and maybe you will influence their fate. The game will be available spring 2018 in VR and traditional platforms: PSVR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PS4, Xbox One and PC. I'm intrigued.
Ganepark32
I'd been keeping an eye on this and was intrigued by what they showed at E3 this year, now they've announced that the game will be out September 18th. Not a great launch window for the game with some heavy hitters around it but wondering if they see a gap for a VR experience that the other bigger releases aren't catering to (even though you can play it entirely without a VR headset) and also wonder if it'll carry a lower price tag to help too. Also announced was the release of a demo that releases today (it's up for download now on the PS Store and is PS4 exclusive). It's a prequel to the main game from what Ubisoft has announced. Quote Dubbed The Walter Test Case, the demo is a prequel that takes place several years before the events of Transference. Enter the experiment that laid the foundation for the events that followed. Explore the digitally recreated memories of a PTSD sufferer, where you’ll try to unearth clues by exploring a haunted apartment and solve mind-bending puzzles. Trailer for the demo above and I've included the E3 trailer from this year below. Excited to see how the demo plays as it looks suitably trippy. Getting some Observer vibes from it in terms of the creepiness (man I need to go back to that game and finish it).
