Feels more difficult than ever to trust reviews online. Everything looks good at 4-5 stars then you see complaints on their facebook page and people talking about being bribed to remove negative reviews....

So I was wondering if anyone had any bluetooth headphones they recommend? I'm mostly interested in earbuds rather than any over-ear types, and good battery life. I've seen some that claim 8 hours, which would be great because that would last most of a full day at work plus travel time. Inline controls (play/pause & volume) also a must.

Here's an example of the kind of thing I'm after:

And I may just get these and count on amazon customer service if they let me down. But I thought I'd check with some peers whose opinion I trust, first!

These are ace in terms of sound quality and battery life.

Negatives are the mic is too far away from your mouth so too quiet for most calls and the magnets that hold them together are weak.

I do usually get 8 hours from them. Batteries in each ear I think.

Kind of tempted by those ones you posted myself. Seems like a good discount.

Don't trust an online discount... these have never been that price

They're also the exact people I was talking about reading horror stories on Facebook

Excellent. It's terrible how often I skip over a product for being 4-star instead of 5-star, but a personal recommendation makes all the difference. Plus I've used Anker products before, I'm probably going to try these!

I have these, they were fantastic up until a few months ago but now the max volume seems to have dropped to ridiculously low levels. It's not even either, music is fine, though I would like it to be louder, but I can't use them at all for calls anymore.

Actually I'm not sure if its the earphones or the phone, anyone know any known problems with iPhone bluetooth etc?
