The Peeps
lo :P I just wanted to show these off really, lol. Has anyone else made any gaming movies? Post here :P Here are mine in the order I made them: http://powclan.co.uk/falco/SkillsMovie.wmv http://powclan.co.uk/falco/Movie.wmv http://www.powclan.co.uk/falco/{P.o.W}Movie.wmv All made with GameCam, using Windows Movie Maker. Caris
How do you take the footage like that? i' will make a CSS one if i knew how.
The Peeps
you can go to http://www.planetgamecam.com and download gamecam, it'll tell you how to use it on the site ;P but all you can really do with the free version is record, no zooming in or anything. I configured it so that my up and down arrows record and stop recording and it just records whatever I can see on my screen :P
Bluejay
I believe FRAPS is the tool to use for this kind of thing,at least for CSS anyway. I don't talk from experience though. Its freeware btw.
The Peeps
yeah, fraps is good because you have sound on it too but you can only record for 30 seconds at a time unless you pay. I suppose that could be all you need though, but it would mean sorting through lots of clips if you wanted to record a lot of stuff.
Shorty
Fraps is good I reccomend VirtualDub and DivX encoding to shrink it down to a reasonable sharable level.
Adrian DX
Fraps is the best program I've found. Me and my old clan bought it so I have it registered

The Peeps
I need a bit of ego inflating, so I'm gonna post another movie I made a while ago, this one is much better than my others in my opinion....
