NBA Playoffs Discusion

Miami Heat rebounded from their Game One upset to crush the Chicago Bulls 115-78 in a fractious, statement Game Two and tie their playoff series 1-1.

It was the biggest ever playoff victory for the Heat. The biggest ever playoff defeat for the Bulls.

This was a statement performance from the Heat. But in the bigger scheme of things it still only counts for one win. Brooklyn had the bigger single game point differential victories over Chicago in the previous round, but it was the Bulls who claimed the necessary four victories.

Chicago will need to relocate the resilience that has powered them through the playoffs thus far. Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich are both still absent, but speculation remains that Derrick Rose might yet reappear in the Bulls lineup.

In an ill-tempered affair, the Bulls had six technical fouls, and Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson were ejected as Miami's lead reached as much as 46 points.

The Heat had six players in double figures, led by Ray Allen's 21 points, LeBron James' 19 and Norris Cole with 18.

The Bulls shot only 36 percent, while Miami connected with 60 percent of their shots. Marco Belinelli led the Bulls with 13 points.

Game Three is in Chicago on Friday night.

This time the Warriors survived. After San Antonio's epic comeback in Game One, the Spurs couldn't quite overhaul Golden State after trailing by 19 points at half-time. The Warriors held on to win 100-91.

It was the Warriors first victory in San Antonio since 1997 - just months later the Spurs made Tim Duncan the first pick in the 1997 NBA draft and kickstarted a golden era.

For the Warriors Klay Thompson had 34 points and 14 rebounds and Steph Curry 22 points. Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 23 points and 9 rebounds. The Spurs narrowed the deficit to as little as six points in the fourth quarter but this time Golden State clung on.

All four NBA conference semi-final series are now tied 1-1.

Been following it a bit. Bulls doing quite well to hang with the Heat. What a series it would be if D. Rose was playing. Don't really follow one team I always look out for the Nicks and Bulls results.
