Guest Jordan Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 I know this may seem stupid, but when you download the server list for CS Source it also downloads the one for Counter Strike 1.6, so just make sure you select the right game too! Yeah, I think thats the solution, at least for errors with failed to connect after 4 retries. Only join servers that say Counter Strike Source. However, you could: Right click the steam icon > servers > change filters and on the drop down box click counter strike: source. That'll stop CS1.6 games appearing. Right click the steam icon > servers > change filters and on the drop down box click counter strike: source. That'll stop CS1.6 games appearing. Seems to have done the job, thanks.
