Magnus Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 He kind of looks like someone fat sat on him. :p
Hamishmash Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 The bigger "surprise" so to speak, is that this Qinc is being drawing in the animation program, Flash. The program you use to make animations.
Magnus Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 ... I don't get it. You'll need to stop being so vague.
Hamishmash Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 Let's just say that it'll be 1 minute long, and out in January and featuring a full audio cast and original music.
Magnus Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Ugh, it's like you're not even listening. Sounds exciting!
Hamishmash Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 If I'm being honest, I have absolutely no bloody idea what's going on with Qinc right now. No bloody idea what format it should take... just experimenting... I don't know what people want from it. I just want to tell this story, I know where it is going, but I don't know how.
The Peeps Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I thought it was working quite well as a web comic
Hamishmash Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 Alright. I've scrapped the "movie" for now, although I do intend to do an animated advert for it. The Qinc So Far can all be viewed on the new official home for it here - http://www.hamishmash.com/qinc And we will be returning to weekly updates very, very soon. The three pages from Chapter 3 I have already posted are no longer "canon" so to speak, but you can look at them still if you want. They kind of happened, but it's not important that they did. The new Qinc is going to be bolder, better drawn, funnier and the story is really gonna pick up now (although pages might not be updated in such a big bulk as before). I hope you enjoy it.
Magnus Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I thought it already had returned, when I saw a new post in this thread.
Hamishmash Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 QINC - Chapter 5 - Qinc in Don Hood Pages 41 to 43 BEST VIEWED HERE >>>> Blog Post - http://www.hamishmash.com/post/15894370571/qinc-rambler-of-the-world-pages-41-43-click The new design of Qinc.
Hamishmash Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 Three brand new animated pages this week! To view them best (and the whole chapter so far together) please click here - http://www.hamishmash.com/post/16696751951/three-brand-new-pages-this-week-in-qinc-rambler But if you're too lazy, here are some less pleasing versions.
Magnus Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 I'd want to go home, too. I like the not-so-subtle reference to that other story you've been working on.
Hamishmash Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 All of Chapter 5 is finished and can be viewed here now - http://www.hamishmash.com/post/17124674962/i-have-now-reached-qincs-50th-page-thanks-for
Hamishmash Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Nobody even reads this anymore. :P As always, the new pages can be viewed on my blog. But I'll post them here too. (But they look best on the blog I promise you!)
Magnus Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 We're reading in secret. We're ninja readers.
Diageo Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I'm reading but not commenting because it gets boring to just say, "Good job, keep it up."
Hamishmash Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Is it still good though? Are people interested in the story? No way of telling anymore.
Diageo Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Well it kind of takes a while every time a new one comes out to try and remember everything that happened. And then not that much happens in each new issue. It kind of detaches from the experience. If you waited maybe a bit longer and gave a bit more of the story, or something like that, I think it would improve the flow. But it's fine as it is. Enjoyable to see.
Hamishmash Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Nah that's good advice. Someone told me it's best to make a webcomic a regular thing, thing... so maybe every 2 weeks?
