nightwolf
I currently have: Fujitsu siemens Scaleop Desktop Windows vista 3070mb ram Intel Core 2 Quad NIVIDA GeForce 9600 GT Basically I want an upgrade, I've recently been offered a more perm part time job and after two years this old thing has gotten rather noisy, I could replace some parts such as the ram and a new cpu, but I'd rather just buy a new pre-built machine to save myself time more than anything. I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere to buy a new upgrade, preferably: 4gb At least 1tb space Two ports for dual screen I don't need a mouse/monitor/keyboard, I have everything I need except a new tower. Graphics cards I don't really know much about, I do play quite a few games on my computer so anything thats good for gaming is a bonus, I also use a wide variety of programs at the same time, photoshop, autodesk etc. So it needs to be able to handle those better than my current desktop. I'm willing to get it from anywhere, as long as you know the website/shop is safe and has good deals. Price range no higher than 600 if possible. Emasher
http://www.misco.co.uk/ I'm not sure what they're like in the UK, but I've used their North American site (Tiger Direct) for quite a few things in the past. I can't really suggest any particular model/parts, but it might be a good place to start.
Raining_again
You might find that the noise is coming from some fans that need replaced. To me that system seems pretty good and would be an awful waste to upgrade for the sake of a few fans or a new graphics card..

To me that system seems pretty good and would be an awful waste to upgrade for the sake of a few fans or a new graphics card.. The system is a couple of years old now, I'd have to replace the fan, put in new ram (as I'd quite like to have at least 4.), a new fan..plus add windows 7, I just don't really see the point of keeping it when I'm replacing so much. *shrug*
Dyson
Would you be looking to sell the old system at all?
nightwolf
Would you be looking to sell the old system at all? I never really thought about it, but if I buy a new system then definitely, I mean it cost about 500 if I recall so I'd probably ask for a lot less than that . Interesting! But yes if I do buy a new system Dyson should I send you a message?
