Daft Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 So I just ripped through season 7 in a few days. I saw most of it before but forgot a lot of it. RIP Seriously. Anya deserved better. My favourite character.
Paj! Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I concur. Though at least they gave her a big speech thing before.
Daft Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) At the end... when Faith tells Buffy she can now live a normal life. I wanted her to breakdown in tears of joy. also... In light of Anya's death, I wish Xander hadn't made that laborious joke at the end and was speechless for once. As bad as the ending to BSG was, at least they gave all the characters a good sending off. With stuff like Buffy and, OMFG Voyager, it ends so abruptly. For all the emotion that happens along the way, the end is always like "Yay" or silent awe. I want people to come undone. Buffy was really up against it with all her bastard friends ousting her as leader, her mum dying and real life calling - I just wanted more relief. Yeah, I take back what I said. This is the best television series. Edit: Although, her death is very Anya-ish. Quick and to the point. Edited August 5, 2010 by Daft
The Lillster Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Loved the Buffy and Angel series back in the day. One of my favourite parts is when the Mayor transforms. "And so, as we look back on... on the events that have brought us to this day... we-we must all- AHH. It has begun, my destiny. It's a little sooner than I expected. I had this whole section on civic pride, but, I guess we'll just skip to the big finish."
Ashley Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I do like that... Emma Caulfield asked to be killed off. In a kind of "that's it, I'm done. I want an ending." And of course Willow
