Eenuh
Hey, I need some urgent help and was wondering if anyone was familiar with working in InDesign. I need to print out my book tomorrow, but I can't find the right options for printing. Basically, when making a book you print 4 spreads which get sewn together. Which means that on one side I'll have page 1 and page 8 next to each other, then page 2 next to 7 etc. I go to the Print Booklet option to print, but none of the options given there seem to give me the right result. InDesign adds in random blank pages, plus the order of the pages never seems to be right. Honestly don't know how to do this, and I've been looking around the internet but so far I can't find the right answer (or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places). Help please. =(
Wesley
My experience with InDesign printing was that it was teeeeeeeerrible and I just printed to PDF. I then imported the PDF into Photoshop to re-arrange the pages. Or did I use the Adobe Reader Pro... Sorry I can't be of any real help.
Ashley
I believe Dan Dare has been using In Design for his work but he's away in London at the moment. Could try sending him a facebook message as he may pick that up.
Eenuh
Problem is I need it right now heh. I went into school hoping someone could help me there. Apparently there's a plugin for InDesign that does what I need but I don't have it (you have to buy it). Asked graphic design teachers for help but they were too busy having a meeting. And all the other teachers had no clue. -____-; So now I'm just cutting everything up and pasting it together. Lots of unnecessary work, merf. Unless someone knows the answer to my problem, this thread can be locked I guess.
