nightwolf Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 Right just a quick (maybe slightly idiotic?) question, I had to test the wireless for my housemate and now everytime I log onto my computer it automatically sticks me on it rather than my wired connection, I disconnect. Nolan Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 It will just disable it for your PC. Just remember though, that any time you'll want to connect wirelessly you'd have to enable it. What's likely preferable to that though is (assuming Vista here) open "Network and Sharing Center" then click on "Manage Wireless Networks" then right click properties of the wireless network and uncheck the box next to connect automatically.
