stuwii Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 On my 360, I am playing on a standard TV and the picture is good but with jagged edges, can RGB make a noticeable difference
Emasher Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Otherwise, it will probably look a bit better though.
Caris Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 The picture will be a little more sharp and colourful, which means text, icons etc will be better but jaggies will show more.

Kirkatronics Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 My TV has full sharpness adjustment It can only show what the cable sends. Thats like expecting a HD tv to make things look HD witout a cable.
stuwii Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 It can only show what the cable sends.Thats like expecting a HD tv to make things look HD witout a cable. It can do 1080 i or near as dammit though
Kirkatronics Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Your missing my point. Just because it says it has the setting, if the cable cant send the information it cant show it.

Emasher Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Look at your TV, if it has one of these sockets, get an HDMI cable instead. If not, get an RGB cable. Also, when you're talking about the official cable versus 3rd party ones. What is the price difference. From what I understand: HDMI/DVI > RGB > Component > 7-pin s-video > 4 pin s-video > composite not sure where VGA fits in. Edited June 18, 2009 by Emasher
Will Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 RGB should be below Component in terms of quality. VGA would be equal to Component.
