MATtheHAT Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 If anybody is still on the fence about getting this, HMV are selling it as part of their two for £30 range. I picked it up along with Singstar Vol 2 plus mics. Both for a measly £30.
dwarf Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 ^ That's a pretty good deal, may check it out. What other games come under that deal (if you remember)?
MATtheHAT Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 erm.....Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Heavenly Sword and Battlefield BC are the ones that spring to mind. There were others but I just went straight for Singstar and Golf tbh.

Ryan Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Can you use Kratos and Sackboy for the single player mode?
Cookyman Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Can you use Kratos and Sackboy for the single player mode? Yes - you can use any character for both single, multi and online play. Remember - Kratos and Sackboy have to be purchased for the game but they are about 80p each if I remember correctly.
Deathjam Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Can someone buy me this game? It's nearly my birthday...(if you can count 4 months as nearly )
Ryan Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Yes - you can use any character for both single, multi and online play. Remember - Kratos and Sackboy have to be purchased for the game but they are about 80p each if I remember correctly. I've bought them, but I only have 2 characters to choose from :S

Deathjam Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Damnit it cooky, with all this info, you are spoiling us (well the ones without the game).
Cookyman Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Damnit it cooky, with all this info, you are spoiling us (well the ones without the game). I aim to please - manged to get -20 on the Highland speed run challenge - the leader worldwide is -26 (bastard!). Ah well.
Cookyman Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Woohoo - Deathjam now has this game too - I'm converting you all, one forum member at a time!
Daft Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I was in the Home space today and I watched a video of it and it looks awesome. I'm not really into golf, do you think I'd still like this?
dwarf Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I did an 18 holes at a local course today, can be rewarding and fun. Fun it was but today I didn't play so well. There's a demo on the Store Daft.
Cookyman Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 I was in the Home space today and I watched a video of it and it looks awesome. I'm not really into golf, do you think I'd still like this? I would think so Daft - it's just good fun but deceptively deep too. Be interesting to hear Deathjams view of it on here. Try the demo - if you like buy it - DLC is great for it too! Hope more forum members get it for the gaming drought summer.
Daft Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Nice, I'll try the demo. Didn't realise there was one. Thanks!!
Deathjam Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I tried the demo and made up my mind that if I could get it for around £15 on ebay, it would be mine. Thus far, it's deceptively deep! Advanced shooting technique is just that! Putting, my god do i suck at it BUT i did get better in the last course I played. Very fun and loads to unlock and graphics are pleasant on the eye. Music is cringeworthy, like elevator music BUT suits the mood and pace of the game well. even online is fun, though my suckiness shone right through. Oh and it's immensely relaxing when you do practice mode but if you go into a proper match, can be tense when you are lining a shot for a potential birdie.
Cookyman Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 Boo Hoo! Despite my best efforts nobody is playing this. This game just recieved another patch - which considering it's 2 years old is impressive - nice little update to add more costumes to your lobby character. Why am I telling you this nobody plays except me! Please play or I'll set Iron Man on you!
Deathjam Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 LOL if I had more time I would play this, but unfortunately I don't. Come christmas, will see what I can do
