Strange Cookie Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) I'm a weakminded fool (and not an all a violencecraving gamer...) and bought it, despite being dissapointed by the demo. Yes, don't try to find a logic there. It was a decision I made at the moment itself. And guess what. Yes, it couldn't be more of an GoW-rip-off if Dante donned an angry spartan-outfit, but it's actually pretty good. Better well stolen than ill concieved. But first a word about the demo. Yes, it's awful. Yes, it looks bad and it's boring. At the docks against an seemingly endless stream of humans, the graveyard with the cheap tombstones... It's pretty bad. But it gets better. They really took the worst part for a demo. The moment you enter Hell, all is forgiven (Ha!). Well, not quite at the beginning where all you do is mash the same idiotic demon-things, but it gets better fairly quickly. It never looks very good, but those tombstones are really the worst you'll come across. King Kratos has nothing to fear and it's not quite worth the advertising campaign, but this is well worth your time if you like the genre. Edited February 5, 2010 by Strange Cookie
Solo Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Yeah I agree with you and I've only played the demo, from watching the videos I can see this will make a perfect rental.
