The control options are limited though, because some buttons have to have two functions and it's just a bit fiddly. There isn't a scheme that is anywhere near how I would want it, even when you can edit them a bit it just doesn't work.

I beg to differ - I really like the default control scheme - of course your entitled to your opinion but I suggest you give it another go with the new patch the game is no longer "broken" and there is some free DLC to look forward to.

Agreed, people kept telling me to 'get used' to the controls in Killzone 2, well I did, and I found a very enjoyable and rewarding game. The same applies to this game. The controls are fine, just get used to it.

Well Socom takes 'getting used to' to another level. Can be a bit fiddly at times with the way they implement things. Selecting weapons etc is quite erksome.

Selecting weapons has been tweaked in the patch - give it another go. I'm sure you'll grow to love it.

Was thinking about asking you for a game this instant actually but you signed out 0 minutes ago. And then there's the patch that will take ages because Virgin likes to laugh at our slow download rate of 1 megabyte every half hour.
