EEVILMURRAY Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I have just finished taking some pictures for the Bish, slammed them onto the computer and disconnected the camera. Now it won't turn on/off. I'm assuming it's on, because a red light is on, yet none of the buttons get a response. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in but no effect.
Emasher Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Try a different pair of batteries. Make sure the other pair is fully charged.
EEVILMURRAY Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 It's not those kind of batteries, they're the block thingies which come with the thing. I've only had the camera about 6 months, and I believe I last charged it a few days ago.
Shorty Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Did you disconnect it properly? (safely remove hardware option) Does it work when you plug it back into the PC? what brand do you have?
EEVILMURRAY Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 Did you disconnect it properly? (safely remove hardware option) Nope, but I rarely do that anyway, I did it the same way with my older camera and that works fine. Does it work when you plug it back into the PC? Nope. what brand do you have? Tis a Fujifilm 740fd.
MoogleViper Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 If it's only been 6 months it should still be under warranty.
