Maiky-NiSuTe Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Note to all my friends online who have a silver acount on the 360! Now you can play Lost Planet Colonies for free on X-Box live Silver!! And you can buy it already for 30,- !! Isn’t that amazing!!! Well what is holding you back? Get your arse to the store and ill meet you online at lost Planet!!
LegoMan1031 Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Cool, i'm not interested in lost planet but i have never heard of being able to multiplayer games without gold membership!?
Gizmo Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I think this is more to do with Lost Planet having a non-existant online community and them trying desperately to revive it. I think I'll go with "there must have been a reason it died in the first place" and pass. I'd rather spend the £30 on a years live and play CoD or Halo, I think.
Tellyn Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I played the demo, it was a decent third-person shooter but it was far from amazing. This move reeks of desperation.
Domstercool Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 It seems that ending the gold/silver distinction in Games for Windows Live (effectively making it free) might have had the same effect for those who game on titles that are both PC and 360. A commenter on Xbox Live forums found that Shadowrun online play was free, for example. Reader Draco, who spotted this, says it works for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition and Universe at War: Earth Assault, too Not just that game it seems
