darksnowman Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Cubed³'s Adam Riley: Considering your current deal with Capcom, and the fact that the company has left its Breath of Fire series untouched for far too long, would you ever give consideration to tackling the resurrection of that RPG franchise? The Takahashi Brothers: We get asked this a lot recently. The development team is extremely important in making an RPG and when some of the team left after Mario Tennis GBA we had to say it wasn’t possible. Lately, however, the gap is being filled and I’m quite confident to take on pretty much anything. It is possible to start planning for titles such as the Breath of Fire series. As I mentioned earlier, the number of games we can develop at a time is quite limited so we would like to consider what people want the most in order to determine the next title for development. http://www.cubed3.com/news/10339 I suppose they could go for a DS revival but I thought we'd stick with wishful thinking and have the thread here, lol. Bringing Breath of Fire back would be great, and for Camelot to be the ones to do it would be a pretty good scenario. I know we want Golden Sun 3 for Wii or DS so don't dislike this BoF idea too much, mmkay?
Pit-Jr Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I like the series, though i cant explain why because the random battles are WAY too frequent and difficult.
pedrocasilva Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I rather have Capcom doing Breath of Fire inhouse and camelot doing their stuff, preferably with Nintendo.
DazzeL Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 This *sounds* good but for some reason I've never played a Breath of Fire game. Very wierd, will have to check out the one on the VC.
Mokong Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 If Camelot are to do another RPG, I'd rather they get their asses to work on new Golden Sun games.... PLEASE
