Britprog Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I'm really interested in the Revolution to see how the controller works out. That looks pretty cool" "It looks very interesting to me. I like the idea of taking the games more outside the box and more into that close-body kind of space." It seems to me that almost all the great impartial 3rd party developers are interested in what the Revolution can do. All they need to do now is make some games for it!! raven_blade2006 Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 More interest, more support. Sounds good! Hopefully the Rev will have the most developer support than any Nintendo console has ever had before!! Yes it is also true that we need some confirmation of games to go with all this interest. At first I questioned the wisdom of Nintendo goin down their own path but now I see it was a very smart move. By doing this they are standing out from the crowd and giving developers somethig to be excited about for once in a long time.
dabookerman Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 any game of his would be perfect for the platform really
Retro_Link Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 An Online, fully interactive 'The Sims' game would sell ABSOLUTELY MILLIONS!! Imagine going to one anothers houses and towns online; meeting up at the shopping mall, or going on holiday!!

dabookerman Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 there already is a sims online... i was thinking of having his next project spore on the rev, that would be nice
mike-zim Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 there already is a sims online... i was thinking of having his next project spore on the rev, that would be nice yeah now that is a "thinking outside the box" game brilliant.
MunKy Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Am I the only one who thinks the Sims is the most pointless game ever made? As far as I'm concerned they took the create a wrestler mode in a wrestler game and stuck it to a much scaled down version of Sim City. STill if he makes a good game then theres no problems with support from him.
DiemetriX Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I also found Sims to be boring.. but it sells like hotcakes.
Maverick Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I also found Sims to be boring.. but it sells like hotcakes. I think its fun at first but then its as repetitive as a washing machine cycle, but still good news all the same.
Jon Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Are we gonna get threads everytime some one likes the revolution, its not a plague it is alright to like it.
Britprog Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 Are we gonna get threads everytime some one likes the revolution, its not a plague it is alright to like it. What's wrong with posting a tread everytime a third party developer shows interest in Revolution. The GC and N64 where plagued with lack of 3rd party support, so I find it interesting to hear positive remarks from 3rd parties. EDIT: Admin agrees with me! http://www.revo-europe.com/news.php?nid=8544
Rolf Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 i was thinking of having his next project spore on the rev, that would be niceIndeed. I've been watching Spore since E3. For anyone that doesn't know what it is, this link is to the IGN E3 preview. Spore
Maverick Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Are we gonna get threads everytime some one likes the revolution, its not a plague it is alright to like it. We barely have any news as it is mate on the revolution, so at least 3rd parties showing intrest shows us that support for the revolution could be what we wished the gamecube support would of been.
