"The system has recovered from a serious error. BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : CEA4C000 BCP3 : A56FEB70 BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1 " Any ideas what it means? Shorty Posted May 13, 2008 Share Posted May 13, 2008 From that, no, but the most common causes of BSOD are mismatched system files or a new device not functioning properly, drivers incorrectly installed, or a dodgy device. Has it come up more than once (if not, it might not be worth worrying), if so, do you have any new hardware recently connected? It's worth getting the name of a file from a BSOD rather than all the jargon (although I'm sure that would be relevant to more tech-inclined people than myself ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
