MoogleViper
Can any of you guys help me? I downloaded heroes s2 ep1 but when I try to play it I get "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." Sanchez
You need to install xvid. http://www.digital-digest.com/software/download.php?sid=1052&ssid=0&did=
triforce_keeper
Slightly more questionable. I would have downloaded it from iPlayer but it's not on. It might need the xvid codecs to work on WMP. Or try this: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm
MoogleViper
EDIT: I've just downloaded DivX and it plays in there.
Konfucius
Get VLC player...
Shorty
Once you've got the divx codec installed you don't need to use the divx player. in fact you don't need to install the divx player, web player or encoder, just the codec will be fine. Things like TV rips are typically encoded with xvid/divx so it's a must. Get VLC player...Aye, if all else fails, VLC will play practically anything.
