Monster Hunter places the player in the role of an up and coming hero/heroine who must accomplish various quests to achieve greatness. I easily clocked over 500 hours on the PS2 version and probably the same amount on the PSP versions. It still isnt that big over in the western world ( it does have a hardcore following ) but the Japanese gamers love it to bits, as well they should!
