Dante Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 What's this Monster Hunter crap? Monster Hunter places the player in the role of an up and coming hero/heroine who must accomplish various quests to achieve greatness. Armor, weapons, and other items are created from the remains of slain monsters by carving off their horns, scales and bones.
Hero-of-Time Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 What's this Monster Hunter crap? One of the best games that Capcom have made in recent years. I easily clocked over 500 hours on the PS2 version and probably the same amount on the PSP versions. It still isnt that big over in the western world ( it does have a hardcore following ) but the Japanese gamers love it to bits, as well they should!
Fandango Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Nice numbers from the PSP, kinda expected though due to MH2's juggernaut status in Japan. Can;t wait till MH3 comes out for the Wii to see how it sells, should be interesting to say the least.
Shino Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I've been reading about it, it sounds like a random RPG. What makes it different? I like the fact that PS3 fanboys can't get over the fact MH3 is a Wii exclusive (see youtube comments).

Dante Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 Monster Hunter became popular after the first Monster Hunter on PSP but it still wasnt well known by Sony fans or Nintendo fans until Monster Hunter 3 was known to be coming out only for the Wii.
