Zero Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 This was on the radio non stop earlier today but it never actaully said why they were protesting. Thanks for the info Platty. As for all the protesting, I don't see it stoppping the games being held in China though. I've been wrong before though.

As for all the protesting, I don't see it stoppping the games being held in China though. I've been wrong before though. There's no way in hell it will stop them from being held in China. But I hate how the Chinese Government vet everything so that part of the world can't really see whats going on. It's disgraceful.
McPhee Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Im not a huge fan of the Chinese government but i really don't understand this "pro-Tibet" rubbish. Anyone care to explain how and why Tibet should be independant?
canand Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 It is not happening know becuse its not on the news.
The fish Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Seemingly not, but I suspect protests will await them in Australia... Oh, and don't bump threads!
Pyxis Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 China doesnt just suffer from a lack of human rights, its treatment of animals is far worse. These people need to learn some decency. This is the country that supports bile bear farming and skinning animals alive.
