Caris Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 It's this one here. I dunno how you remove it, i want to mount it so it needs to come off. Manual say's nothing nobody i know can help and i have been googling for nearly a hour but to no avail. Can somebody help please?
Guest Jordan Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Hack saw? I dunno, you tried the LG site?
Guest Jordan Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 It seems as if its a misquote or misinformation by the site you bought it off then. To be honest, if neither the manual or website claim its possible... its probably not.
Caris Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 It is as it has the mount's on the back off the monitor.
McPhee Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 That just means you can wall mount it, not that you can take the stand off. It's possible the stand will have to stay attached, the circular base can be easily removed on that model but as far as i can tell the rest is solid
Guest Jordan Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Its quite plasable that Phee is right. The base might detact, but unless you have a saw/blow torch/very strong teeth that base might not fully come off.
Oli1983uk Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Have you tried undoing the 4 screws on the back?
Caris Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 It won't sit flush with the wall if the stands on, and yeah i've tried the screws.
Will Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Probably doesn't come of then. My one at work is the same, just having the stand dangling in mid air is a bit strange but its a good place for a figure of Luigi to go.
Caris Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 Yeah i'm saying though it won't fit to the wall with the stand on...
Will Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Just hack it off with a saw if you really need to then. Bit of wet and dry paper afterwards and it won't look too bad. Maybe :p Is it too late to send it back?
Caris Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 I'd like to see someone else figure that out with no instructions or guides at all.
