Tom Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I got a new phone today, and i am trying to install the media manager software. It's not essential, but I would like to give it a go and see if there are any decent features. I get through the install, and it says it requires quicktime 7.20. It then says I have a higher version and cannot proceed. It seems pretty weird that a phone that was launched this month doesn't work with the latest version of quicktime, but never mind. The problem is that i can't uninstall my verion of quicktime. Its not on the list of programs to be unistalled on windows. Any ideas? I'm running XP, and its a SE w960i. Thanks
Jasper Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Download the installer of iTunes, and uninstall Quicktime with it. It should work.
Tom Posted January 12, 2008 Author Posted January 12, 2008 tried that. i'm till getting the error message. i think the problem is more complex - i dont think quicktime is even installed, i can't find it in program files.
Caris Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Go in the registry and plug it out that way. Be careful though.
