mcj metroid Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 1, Its a PS3 game, way beyond the Wii's graphical capablities.2, Its apparently pretty shit in comparison to the first 3. no it isn't! There are worse screenshots than that. I hardly think it's impossible for the wii to do this. The graphics are GOOD but not THAT good.
Zechs Merquise Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Good point MCJ, Time Crisis 4 could easily come to the Wii, it doesn't look as good as Prime 3 or Galaxy.
khilafah Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 why would anyone want Time Crisis 4 on the Wii. PS3 version sucks and the Wii version wouldnt be that much better. I want new games man!!
Guest Jordan Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 no it isn't! There are worse screenshots than that. I hardly think it's impossible for the wii to do this. The graphics are GOOD but not THAT good. Hmm... I can remember it looking far better than that in my mind. Ah well, i'm wrong again. For the second time in one thread. Thats basically a record.

I want new games man!! the motion sensing would surely make it better.. and it was a very enjoyable game in the arcade, Maybe it was just a bad port?. i may have linked you to arcade screenshots Perhaps the ps3 graphics were improved?

pedrocasilva Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 1, Its a PS3 game, way beyond the Wii's graphical capablities.2, Its apparently pretty shit in comparison to the first 3. Erm... it's a PS3 port from a PS2 hardware game (it ran on the same PS2-based arcade cabinet SC3 did); that's why it's quite much a last gen game, even with the upgrades. And they didn't screw around much with level geometry and enemy geometry either, it clearly has PS2 roots. Impossible on the Wii? aside from resolution I really wonder. Wonder in the sense that... somebody must have seem other kind of graphics coming out of it than I did; because I'd say it would be quite easy and painless. Also, since we're talking about this... the Namco team who ported TC4 talked about a Point Blank Wii recently. EDIT: @ mcj metroid that's a promo pic os the arcade version (PS2 based) I've been seeing that one for a long time (the jaggies in the car further confirm it, given that the resolution is so low and it still features them) but yeah, the PS2-based version doesn't look much better geometry wise (if it does, at all), afaik they just added a little bloom here and there, and other slight upgrades, and of course, resolution; shame the bastards didn't released it on PS2, though, I have two guncon's for it; i'd never pay £70 for this one though, even considering if I had a PS3. EDIT2: @ mcj metroid you said later on it was the arcade version, sorry. ^^'

I'd bet my life there will be one. They'd be foolish not to. the graphics in point blank are perfectly functional also so there would be no need to even improve the graphics. Straight port.
darkjak Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Isn't this a VC game? I'm not gonna get this, but I'm not didding it either.
Gizmo Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Isn't this a VC game?I'm not gonna get this, but I'm not didding it either. No, this is a full disc release game as far as I'm aware.
Zechs Merquise Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 No, this is a full disc release game as far as I'm aware. Yep, a full disk game, with booklet and the lot! Seriously though, I was at the cinema the other night and they had a Time Crisis 3 machine, there really is no doubt in my mind that a Time Crisis compilation would sell well and be very easy to make. What are Namco doing? (Although that is a seperate thing to what Konami are doing, personally I'm not sure what I prefer, a lack of support or a shite game).
