If i were in the market for the 360. I'd buy a cheap arcade, then buy a 20Gb Hard Drive which is essentially a premium, but my wallet would be quids up.

Second hand 20GB HDDs go for £30-£40 over at AV Forums, but you could easily get away without one. The Arcade has a memory card, so all you'll miss out on is game demos and DLC

After doing some pricing up (for the hard drives) via Gameplay.co.uk.

Arcade + 20Gb hard drive = ?214.98 - Equivalent to a Premium.

Arcade + 120Gb hard drive = ?279.98 - Equivalent to a Elite.

Which saves you a little bit, but if you can find a hard drive any cheaper than at gameplay then you have yourself a bargain.

I think at this time of year where money is tight the price drop could make the difference between a kid getting & not getting an xbox this xmas. A hard drive could be bought at a later date if needed.

I think the popularity of the Wii has turned it into a 3 way battle this gen, prices have dropped and there are some good bundles availabe.
