Guys, all of a sudden me Wii has started to crash/freeze on me. I tryed it with Wii Sports/Zelda/Resi and it still happens. I bought it online from GAME in like May this year. Shall I just take it back to GAME in town with the invoice I got through e-mail?

Thanks!

I don't think GAME stores will take back online orders. It is still under warranty just about I say send it back to Nintendo. Does it make a buzzing noise when it freezes thats what happened to mine and they replace it in 5 days.

Mine froze the other day whilst I was playing Mario Galaxy. It's never happened before or since. Fingers crossed it never happens again.

Give it a coat. :D

Mine's a launch console and has been perfect, apart from the Internet Channel crashes (which I heard is normal) and a case where my sister was playing MySims and it needed to be fully turned off due to a crash. Not happened since.

Better off going through nintendo. They'll send you a paid postage label either via email or through the post. Then you just need to take it to a post office packaged up, I just stuck mine in a jiffy bag and it's come back fine. Took longer for me to find the time to go to the post office than it did for them to send it back to me.

They did warn me that they had a turn around of upto 20 working days, but I'm pretty sure it was less than 10.

I fear no console is completely free of crashes, and it seems bad luck has fallen upon your back. :(

It's still under guarantee, so Nintendo should, nay, has to help you. I just hope you still have the receipt, or something that proves the day of purchase?

Anyways, a call to Nintendo's Custumor Service is in order. And good luck.

I thought my wii crashed once, the screen went black all of a sudden. It was my brother trying to synchronise his remote with the on/off button...:P

If you kick up enough of a fuss they send a courier out that day, thats what they did with me and it took just 5 days to be back with me.
