I've got some old friends back where I used to live that were bought up in a vegan family. When the older got to 16 he said "I want to try some meat!". He's not a vegan anymore. Posted October 24, 2007 I eat meat, since It feels like the "main" foos source. Fruit and Veg feel like add-ons you might as well have for a joke. I like fruit, but I only like select veg. Just my two cents here though, very short but "tru faks" The only reason we evolved into such intelligent animals is because of our meaty diets millions of years ago. Protein was needed to develop our brain propperly and guess where the source was from? I like eating meat to be honest, its part of a propper diet. Anyway, as a biology student, the amount of bollocks being help up as science in this thread (from both sides) has made me want to pull my eyes out and scream. Thankfully it's mostly been corrected by now. As for dynastygal... pity she couldn't cope with anyone questioning her key beliefs. Incidentally, though you may not believe it, she was on the list. And as for my attitude towards vegans, I think I'll use a Murakami quote. "Gays, lesbians, straights, feminists, fascist pigs, communists, Hare Krishnas - none of those bother me.
