All i want to know is if it's important or i can delete from my new Laptop. Could anyone just sum it up in a nut shell?

But if it only has to do with BitLocker and you have no plans on using BitLocker then yes delete it if you wish. Strange I have BitLocker but no Trusted Platform Module thingy, or that I know of anyways...
Konfucius Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Isn't it just a module that can be deactivated? What I know about TCPA is that it prevents you from running unauthorized code for instance most of the freeware software some people coded at home would fall under that term. I have a chip myself, I'm not sure whether it's the actual TCPA or not but I deactivated it and everything works fine.
